HECTOR (11) crosses the Nullarbor with strong Victorian form and must be respected at his WA debut. JOEY JAMES (5) overcame a wide draw to run 2nd here in quick time and should make his presence felt again. ROLL UP (2) will settle in a prominent position and should be thereabouts. Tips: 1 11 5 2 Suggested Bet: ETON ROCK (1) to win. Race 2 JETT STAR (3) showed something like his best when a strong 2nd to MEA CULPA (7) at his last start and can go one better after drawing inside his main rivals. BENJI (6) led throughout to defeat a good field here last week and looks a major player again despite the awkward draw. MEA CULPA (7) has won three on end and loves the sprint trip but looks set for a tough run from this barrier. VULCAN STAR (4) led throughout from this draw in 1.54.8 two starts and must be respected. Tips: 3 6 7 4 Suggested Bet: JETT STAR (3) to win. Race 3 THE AMBER HARE (3) hasn’t had much luck in similar events but is the best drawn of the main chances and will be hard to beat if she can maintain her barrier advantage throughout. NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (5) has won five of her last six starts against similar fields and should fight out the finish again. BETTOR GET IT ON (10) defeated a similar field two starts back before running a narrow 2nd to NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (7) and looks the other winning chance. SHEEZ OUT HOPE (7) will be charging home if there is a solid tempo. Tips: 3 5 10 7 Suggested Bet: THE AMBER HARE (3) to win. Race 4 THE MUSTANG (1) was held up until too late when a close 2nd here last week and should lead and give a great sight from the pole. MINSTREL (3) is the best horse in the race and should make his presence felt but is better suited over longer trips. VAMPIRO (2) has options at the start and shouldn’t be far away. HAMPTON BANNER (4) is a lot better suited over this trip and can be a big improver but is drawn outside of his main rivals. Tips: 1 3 2 4 Suggested Bet: THE MUSTANG (1) to win. Race 5 SKYLORD (10) has resumed with three soft victories and the back line draw is offset somewhat by the race fitness advantage he enjoys over his two main rivals. HOTLY PURSUED (3) has good gate speed and can lead and give a great sight here if he is forward in condition. IM THE BLACK FLASH (7) has a big reputation and must be considered first-up if anywhere near his top. MAJOR MANHATTAN (1) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but can play a part from the pole. Tips: 10 3 7 1 Suggested Bet: SKYLORD (10) to win. Race 6 WAVERIDER (3) impressed on debut when leading throughout to win his heat with the quickest last quarter. He is the best drawn of the Heat winners and appeals as the one to beat. SOHO SKYFALL (7) faced the breeze and recorded the fastest time in his heat and has the strength to overcome the wide draw. BLAZE AWAY (4) looked a bit green on debut but still got the job done and can improve further tonight. TEN TO THE DOZEN (8) faced the breeze and was only narrowly beaten by BLAZE AWAY (4) but has a tough draw to overcome. Tips: 3 7 4 8 Suggested Bet: WAVERIDER (3) to win. Race 7 DONT BOTHER ME NONE (1) has looked back to his best with dominant wins from the breeze at his last two starts and will be hard to beat if he can hold up at the start. VALENTINES BROOK (5) won five on end before failing in the Pinjarra Cup but is suited back in class tonight. GALACTIC STAR (6) drops in class on his recent efforts and will be hitting the line strongly if there is a solid tempo. ALTA RHETT (2) is drawn to get a soft run behind the speed and can be placed. Tips: 1 5 6 2 Suggested Bet: DONT BOTHER ME NONE (1) to win. Race 8 MANNING (8) returned to something like his best when he recorded a narrow but strong win over Raven Banner. He is drawn wide tonight but is suited by the staying trip and should give a great sight. DOC HOLLIDAY (5) was only plain at his first run back from a break but he drops in class here and can be driven more aggressively if desired. PIERRE WHITBY (1) has been unplaced at his past seven starts but loves this distance and has the advantage of the pole draw. BALTIC ACE (4) drops in class on his recent assignments and can play a part. Tips: 8 5 1 4 Suggested Bet: MANNING (8) each way. Race 9 DARDY BOY (2) is first-up for Stephen Reed tonight and will give a great sight from this draw if he is anywhere near his top. HENGHENG (10) drops considerably in class for this assignment but he has to overcome a barrier that is not conducive to his racing style. HENRIK LARSSON (11) has had problems but resumes tonight and will be a major player if he is close to his best. FLYING RUMOUR (4) is racing out of his class and disappointed at his last start but does have ability. Tips: 2 10 11 4 Suggested Bet: DARDY BOY (2) to win. Race 10 IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (11) has been the runner-up at his last four starts in stronger company and looks the one to beat if he can step cleanly from the tapes. ARDEN VELOCITY (1) is a good stand performer and is the likely leader here who will give a great sight in that role. AUSSIE SCOOTER (7) loves the stand and should be right in the finish again. AMERICAN BULLITT (2) has been struggling in mobile events but should enjoy a nice run just behind the speed here and can be placed. Tips: 11 1 7 2 Suggested Bet: IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (9) to win. Race 11 HEEZ A VIBE (3) led throughout in solid time at his second race start and looks the one to beat here. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (5) won his first two starts against easier company before doing things wrong here at his last start and looks the main danger if he is on his best behaviour. MAXIMUM ROCK (1) was beaten a long way by HEEZ A VIBE (3) at his last start but can improve from the pole draw. CHIEF COPY (2) was only beaten 2.5m by HEEZ A VIBE (3) at his last start and looks a good place chance again. Tips: 3 5 1 2 Suggested Bet: HEEZ A VIBE (3) to win. Market Market
