The Scout: NFL Week 8 Posted on October 28, 2021October 29, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts The Tennesse Titans (5-2) come into this game off the back of a massive win over the Kansas City Chiefs while the Indianapolis Colts (3-4) are starting to find some form as they have won two in a row. Derrick Henry is fast becoming the most dangerous offensive player in the NFL and is leading the league in rushing yards. Henry’s power and speed is tearing through opponents’ defenses and do add to his massive yard gain, he has scored 10 touchdowns for the season. What makes the Titans so great offensively is that Henry takes a lot of eyes and numbers, which completely opens things up for everyone else on the team. Titan’s QB Ryan Tannehill understands this perfectly and takes full advantage of it. The Colts have already lost to the Titans earlier this year and although they will want revenge, they simply aren’t good enough. The Titans have a clear advantage in the running back position and a smart offense that will get the job done. Suggested Bet: Titans -1 (Line) @ $1.91* Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Jets The Bengals (5-2) made a huge jump last week with an incredible road win over the Ravens while the New York Jets (1-5) are struggling after a massive 54-13 blowout loss to the Patriots. It’s no secret the Jets are in huge trouble as 2021 first-rounder Zach Wilson is out making 2018 fifth-rounder Mike White the starting quarterback. This could get ugly as the Bengals are one of the inform teams with White having a seemingly impossible task of outdueling Joe Burrow. Burrows is locked as the franchise quarterback and comes into this match in great form after throwing for 416 yards to go along with 3 touchdown passes against the Ravens. The Bengals offense is rolling thanks to Burrow and his linkup play with Ja’Marr Chase who has been incredible in his rookie season. With White in the quarterback position the Jets offense is going to be stagnant and not move down the field effectively. Oppositely the Bengals are red hot and should have no problem continuing their form and putting up a big score on one of the worst teams in the league. Suggested Bet: Bengals -11 (Line) @ $1.91* Philadelphia Eagles @ Detroit Lions The Eagles (2-5) have lost two straight matches and are now on their second road game in a row as they travel to the winless Detroit Lions (0-7) Philadelphia is a mess defensively right now as they are allowing an average of 310 passing yards across the last two weeks. On the other side of the field, they can’t seem to get things going and are in desperate need of a running game to support Jalen Hurts. Although the Lions are yet to win a game, they have had some close games only losing to the Vikings and Rams by two points as well as a great performance against the Rams last week. The Eagle’s defense is a perfect opportunity for the Lions to take advantage of and get their first win of the season. Jared Goff has not thrown for over 300 yards in his last six matches however he can shine against a weak Eagles defense. Despite a poor showing thus far, Goff has the experience to get the job done here and will be the difference maker. Lions get their first win of the season. Suggested Bet: Lions (Win) @ $2.48* *Odds correct as at 5pm, 28th October 2021. Market Market
