The Scout: NFL Week 13 Posted on December 4, 2021December 5, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Minnesota Vikings vs Detroit Lions The Minnesota Vikings (5-6) come into this match off the back of a 34-26 loss to the San Francisco 49ers while their opponent the Detroit Lions (0-10-1) are yet to find a win this season. Detroit despite their winless record have been agonisingly close to victory multiple times this season and once again be on the hunt for their first win. The Lions last two matches have been a 16-14 defeat to the Bears and a 13-10 loss to the Browns, both matches were winnable but unfortunately, they fell short. Defensively the Lions have looked much improved and have not given up more than 16 points in three straight fixtures. This will be a concern for the Vikings who will be without starting to run back Dalvin Cook which will make scoring a lot harder. Incredibly 10 of the Vikings games have been decided by one score and with the injury to Cook we can expect another close match. Detroit have a great opportunity here off the back of their impressive defensive unit to potentially get their first win of the season. Suggested Bet: Lions +7 (Line) @ $1.91* Washington Football Team @ Las Vegas Raiders The Washington Football Team (5-6) have put three wins in a row including a massive 29-19 upset victory over the Buccaneers. The Las Vegas Raiders (6-5) managed to snap a three-game losing streak with a massive 36-33 victory over the Cowboys. This is the perfect opportunity for the Raiders to get a big win and build off their victory on Thanksgiving over Dallas. Las Vegas are built to exploit Washington as they allow the third most passing yards per game while the Raiders have the second-best passing game in the league. After a disappointing opening two games with Las Vegas, DeSean Jackson against the Cowboys showed he can replace Henry Ruggs III as the Raiders’ deep aerial threat by catching three passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Derek Carr is first in the league for passing yards (3414) and he will be looking forward to taking advantage of a Washington defense that simply cannot stop the passing game of their opponents. Carr will find plenty of holes and with the improved game of Jackson we can expect the Raiders to continue their winning momentum. Suggested Bet: Raiders -2.5 (Line) @ $1.91* Jacksonville Jaguars @ Los Angeles Rams The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) have lost three straight matches and now travel to take on the Los Angeles Rams (7-4) who have also lost three in a row. This fixture is the perfect opportunity for the Rams to get back on track after a disaster three weeks which saw them lose to the Packers, 49ers and Titans. Matthew Stafford now has Odell Beckham Jr. as a passing option and defensively the Rams added Von Miller giving them a star-studded roster. The three losses in a row for the Rams saw their opponents create offensive schemes that avoided Los Angeles’s defensive playmakers. Unfortunately for Jacksonville they do not have the coaching or players to mimic the template and will struggle to score against an aggressive Rams defensive unit. Rams defensive playmakers Miller, Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsay will prove to be too strong and will overrun the Jaguars forcing them to create plenty of mistakes and turnovers. This will give Stafford plenty of time on the field and score plenty of points and will put an end to a frustrating few weeks for the Rams. Suggested Bet: Rams -13 (Line) @ $1.77* *Odds correct as at 12pm, 4th December 2021. Market Market
