Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on December 3, 2021December 3, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 3rd December 2021 Race 6 – No. 1 Speed Bandit Back to her best with a slashing all the way win last week in 27.44. Drawn to take on the early lead again and will prove just as hard, if not, harder to run down this time. Race 7 – No. 8 Bush Martini A winner in just 2 of 39 starts so far and unplaced in 4 well-spaced local efforts but she has run time here in the past, finishing on the heels of a couple of handy ones in Archibald and Moruga Scorpion. In search of longer but certainly not hopeless here and could surprise if the breaks go her way. Race 9 – No. 7 Rippin’ Sheen On debut over the trip but has saluted here over the 405m in the past and does her best racing over similar at Cannington and from wide draws. If she pings and lands in front, they won’t get near her in this. Looks too speedy for this line up. Each Way: Race 5 – No. 8 Ray Keeping Ran on strongly late for 4th when beaten less than a length in the Dawesville Cup final last week. This is tougher again but racing too well to overlook. Each Way claims. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.8 / 1.2 / 2.4.5.8 / 4.5.10 $50 for 104.16% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 4th November 2021 Race 5 – No. 2 Valachi Back to his best with a dominant win 6L+ win in a PB of 29.70 last start. This field has more depth and he is yet to win in three runs in stripes but another swift exit from the boxes can see him repeat the dose. Race 6 – No. 6 Sir Monty Racing in great form at present with top two finishes in slick times at his past three outings. Has the draw advantage over this main rival MOMENTUM (7) and if he can match motors early and hold the rails, he can prove too strong at the business end. Race 12 – No. 5 Turbo Fun Knocking on the door of victory with back to back seconds here over varying trips. Finished with big bounds from this draw last start to just miss and can go one better if he settles closer in running here. Each Way: Race 1 – No. 2 Lacrymosa Has been finding plenty of trouble in her races but is rarely far away from the podium. If she can find her best jump from the favourable draw, she is capable of turning her form around in this. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2 / 6.7 / 1.2.3 / 2.4.6 $50 for 277.77% Trifecta – Race 5 2 / 1.3.5.7.8 / 1.3.5.7.8 $30 for 150% First Four – Race 10 1.2 / 1.2 / 3.6.7 / 3.4.6.7 $50 for 277.77% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 5th December 2021 Race 4 – No. 4 Major Gilbert Out of form chaser who has run some big races over this trip. Down in class and the small field will suit. Sure to be fighting out the finish this time. Race 5 – No. 6 Matsuyama Makes his short course debut after some mixed efforts over the 405m. If he can display his early toe and take up the running, there is no reason why he cannot go all the way. Take running down. Race 6 – No. 2 Wyangapinni Yet to finish further back than 3rd in two runs over the trip. Times not all that flash but won’t need to run the arms off the clock in this line up to go back back over the distance. Bet Now! Bet Now!
