The Scout: NBA Finals Game 5 Posted on October 9, 2020October 9, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers Defense has been a major catalyst for LA’s 3-1 series lead. Anthony Davis has been at the forefront, disrupting with his length and athleticism, even minding Jimmy Butler for key stretches. The Lakers on the fast break has been the Lakers at their best. Miami have no answer for LeBron, and he has done as he pleases when getting the matchup on the smaller Miami wings of Herro and Robinson. Bam Adebayo returned in Game 4 and was huge. He looked close to his normal self, but there is no doubt he is being hindered by injury. It took a 40 point triple-double from Butler for Miami to win a game in this series, and I think that just about sums up where these teams are at. Miami have been so gallant this series, but they have a momentous task in front of them now. They are banged up and might (understandably) have one eye on leaving the bubble and returning to South Beach. I think the Lakers win here, and once the game is out of reach, they put a margin on the Heat. Suggested Bet: Los Angeles 11+ (Margin) @ $2.50* *Odds correct as at 8.50am, 9th December 2020.
