The Scout: EPL Week 35 Posted on April 29, 2022April 30, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Watford vs Burnley Watford (19th) have lost four straight matches in the Premier League and are destined for relegation, while Burnley (17th) are just two points clear of the bottom three having won their last two matches over Wolverhampton and Southampton. Needless to say, a win for Burnley will go a long way towards keeping them in the topflight next season. They’ve seen a drastic improvement defensively keeping back-to-back clean sheets, on top of holding West Ham to a single goal earlier this month. In attack, Burnley are developing a deadly partnership between Dutch striker Wout Weghorst and Jay Rodriguez, and this pairing has the potential to be the difference here. Suggested Bet: Burnley to Win @ $2.75* Southampton vs Crystal Palace A battle between mid-table teams Southampton (13th) and Crystal Palace (14th) in a match that has little meaning to the season, with both clubs having secured their Premier League position moving forward. Both sides will be out to end their season on a high, and with players looking to impress to ensure future selection. One player who has stepped up of late is Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, who has once again showcased his free kicks prowess. The dead ball specialist has scored 14 goals from free kicks in his Premier League career, second only to David Beckham on 18. Ward-Prowse enters this match having scored a brace last weekend against Brighton and looks a great bet to add to that tally here. Suggested Bet: James Ward-Prowse to Score a Goal @ $3.70* West Ham vs Arsenal West Ham (7th) are well and truly out of the race for a top four finish having failed to find a win in three straight matches. They will have their focus now on the Europa League semi-finals where they take on Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt. Arsenal (4th) have leapfrogged Tottenham and are now in a commanding position to secure a top four spot after back-to-back wins over Manchester United (3-1) and Chelsea (4-2). The Gunners are only two points ahead of Spurs however and must continue winning to see Champions League action next season. Arsenal’s 4-2 away win over Chelsea just over a week ago was the highlight of their season, the Gunners playing with confidence and showcasing their attacking brilliance behind young striker Eddie Nketiah, as well as Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe. Suggested Bet: Arsenal to Win @ $1.76* *Odds correct as at 6pm, 28th April 2022. Market Market
