The Scout: EPL Week 23

Aston Villa vs Arsenal

Aston Villa (9th) are coming off a 3-1 midweek loss to West Ham while Arsenal (10th) had their seven game unbeaten streak came to an end, going down 2-1 to Wolves.

Villa have been an exciting team to follow this season, playing high risk-high reward football. There have been more than 2.5 goals with both teams scoring in four of Villa’s last seven games.

The Gunners are in a similar category, with their last three away fixtures in the Premier League seeing 3+ goals. With attacking players like Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette at the helm, this looks to be the identity of this current squad.

On paper this looks a potential goal-fest. Both sides are blessed with front-end talent, both teams are taking risks from their back half and neither is known for their defensive prowess.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams To Score @ $1.83*

Fulham vs West Ham

18th placed Fulham haven’t won in 11 straight games and come up against arguably the form team of the competition; West Ham (5th), who have won five of their last six Premier League fixtures.

One of the big turning points for West Ham was selling out of form striker Sebastian Haller, allowing Michail Antonio to play in a more prominent role, transforming their attack in the process.

Tomas Soucek is another player that has been given some more responsibility in the new-look West Ham offense. The Czech midfielder has scored thrived scoring three goals in his last three matches.

The Hammers simply look too good here.

Suggested Bet: West Ham (Match Result) @ $1.95*

Leeds vs Crystal Palace

Leeds (11th) had their two game winning streak come to an end with a 2-1 midweek loss to Everton, while Crystal Palace (13th) are coming off their second win in as many games after a 2-1 victory over Newcastle.

Leeds have been one of the best teams to watch all season, playing fast-paced football resulting in plenty of goals. Manager Marco Bielsa believes attack starts from defense and this style of play is the big reason behind Leeds’ mammoth goal tallies – 36 scored and 38 conceded!

Patrick Bamford has been the main beneficiary from Bielsa’s philosophy with 11 goals and eight assists for the season. The Englishman plays deep, takes penalties and coverts his chances in front of goal.

Suggested Bet: Patrick Bamford First Goalscorer @ $4.50*
