The Scout: EPL Week 12 Posted on December 10, 2020December 10, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Wolverhampton vs Aston Villa Wolverhampton have fallen to 10th following their 4-0 loss to Liverpool while Aston Villa (12th) have lost two straight and four of their last five. Wolves have scored just 11 goals for the season and will be missing their spearhead Raul Jimenez, a huge out for a side that has struggled for potency without him. Villa have a staggering 3-1 record on the road this season and already boast wins over Liverpool, Arsenal and Leicester. Anything close to their best should see them claim the three points here. Suggested Bet: Aston Villa (Match Result) @ $3.20* Newcastle vs West Brom Newcastle (13th) have had an inconsistent start to the season while West Brom (19th) are fresh off a 5-1 hiding at the hands of Crystal Palace. Things are pretty grim for West Brom. They are yet to win a game on the road this season and have conceded a league-high 23 goals through 11 games. Newcastle have an chance to jump multiple spots on the table with a win here, and if that is to be the case I suspect striker Callum Wilson will involved coming up against the leakiest defense in the league. Wilson has seven goals to his name this season, and his pace and strength should give the West Brom centre backs plenty of problems. Suggested Bet: Newcastle (Match Result) @ $2.20* Southampton vs Sheffield United Southampton (5th) are marching their way up the Premier League table, playing their trademark aggressive and entertaining football while Sheffield United (20th) are still looking for their first win of the season. Southampton welcomed back Danny Ings last weekend with the star striker coming off the bench to score the match-winning penalty. He should start here and remains the Saints’ biggest weapon up front. Sheffield United have scored a just five goals this season, going scoreless in six of their 11 fixtures. Danny Ings has six goals of his own for the season, is an aerial threat and takes (and makes) penalties. He looks great value to open proceedings here. Suggested Bet: Danny Ings First Goalscorer @ $3.30* *Odds correct as at 12pm, 10th December 2020. Market Market
