Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on December 10, 2020December 10, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.9 Purrfect Deal Lightly raced Queensland visitor from the Michael Costa stable on the Gold Coast. Yes he’s being thrown in the deep end tomorrow however there was something about that last start Doomben win which suggests he’s better than average. His last 100m was very impressive to the eye and being by Dundeel the 400m rise in distance tomorrow shouldn’t be an issue. Confident he can measure up. RACE 5 No.11 Ashema First starter from the Anabel Neasham stable who accepted both here and at Eagle Farm with connections electing to go around here. She caught my eye when running second to Fake Love in a recent Rosehill trial. They both ran slick time that day without being pressured and there was a decent gap back to the third placed runner. Passed in for 800K she looks well above average. RACE 9 No.16 New Arrangement Liked his first up run at Doomben when making ground from the back of the field. Sent south to Rosehill second up he jumped up 4kg in weight yet ran very well after siting wide without cover the entire trip only beaten 1.5 lengths. He should be right at his peak third up tomorrow and back down in the weights he can measure up in the stronger grade. Big chance! Quaddie 3, 6, 7, 10 3, 15 12, 16 2, 5, 6, 10 Market Market
