Sully’s NRL Preview – Round 26 Posted on August 31, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan What a way to start the final round of 2017! We head to Townsville to continue the fierce rivalry between the Cowboys and the Broncos. Just one of the last five games between the pair has been decided by more than a single point and even that game was determined by a Try in Extra Time. Friday’s only game sees the Eels, who are looking to secure a top 4 position, play host to host to the Rabbitohs. On Saturday the 2nd placed Roosters clash with the Titans, then all eyes will be on Lottoland Stadium as playoff’s come early when the Sea Eagles and Panthers go toe to toe in a virtual elimination final. The Melbourne Storm then welcome the Canberra Raiders to AAMI Stadium in what should be a high scoring clash. On Sunday it’s “Old Boys” day at Newcastle where the Knights welcome the 5th placed Sharks. It is a simple equation for the St George Illawarra Dragons when they tackle the Bulldogs at ANZ. Win and they play Finals Footy, lose and they don’t! The action concludes at Leichhardt Oval where the Wests Tigers farewell Tedesco and Woods in their clash with the Warriors.
