Sully’s NRL Preview – Round 23 Posted on August 10, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan The Rabbitohs and Bulldogs get things underway in what is a dead rubber with both teams out of finals contention. The Eels and Knights start Friday night action with the Eels chasing a top 4 slot and then we are off to Suncorp Stadium where the 3rd placed Broncos host the 4th placed Sharks. There is plenty on the line and Sharks Captain Paul Gallen plays his 300th NRL game. On Saturday the Dragons play host to the Titans at Jubilee Oval and both sides are coming off disappointing losses. It’s a top of the table clash at AAMI Stadium when the Storm & Roosters clash for Minor Premiership honours. The Roosters are bolstered by the return of Cordner and Friend. It is another potential Blockbuster at the foot of the Blue Mountains when the in-form Panthers await the Cowboys. It is a crunch game for North Queensland. On Sunday we head across the ditch with the Warriors welcoming the Raiders who know there is no remaining room for error in season 2017. The action rounds out at Leichhardt Oval with West Tigers hosting the Manly Sea Eagles.
