Race 1

ANOTHER DEMON has been a different horse ridden off the speed. Was no match for Bells Tower at his most recent but the effort still warranted giving him another go. McNaught can sit at the tail of the small field and get over the top of them late. PEGATEGO is the class runner and can improve sharply 3rd up. Boy Hill a suitable riding engagement. BELLS TOWER is in great form and is the one to catch. THE CRUEL SEA will bob up sooner rather than later.

Race 2

WOCKNWOLL can be her own worst enemy. Her effort only 7 days ago was too good to ignore and she is going good enough to sit last and circle them.  GLIMMER GIRL has been ultra-impressive at both Goldfields runs and is bursting to win a race. Suited by the anticipated hot tempo. IT’S DYNAMITE is another suited by the expected hot speed and you can’t fault her effort this preparation. BOS TAURUS will come across with Pearl Of The Plain and be there for a long way.

Race 3

FIRST STRIKE put the writing on the wall at her debut performance for Rickie Brown; it was full of merit and a repeat sees her super hard to beat. KING OF PLANETS was a better run than it reads on paper and with the senior rider on and backing up off 7 days he may be worth a spec and an each way quote. FISHY isn’t the most talented horse in the stable but has improved with every trip to the races and will pick up a maiden. SIZZLING AFFAIR is a watch at her first start for Jo Forrest.

Race 4

ATTICUS got back and attacked the line strongly behind Harrelson. Autier will likely settle closer to the speed today and will represent good each way value. Could be the first winner in the LK Colors. LITTLE FLIRT is a newcomer to Brett Matthews’ yard and recent form is very suitable for a race of this nature. EXPLOSION is still looking for a rider. Connections will have their fingers crossed as this looks a winnable race for him. BLUE TURNS TO GREY has been in consistent form and is another winning chance.

Race 5

EXCARO could not have been more impressive since joining David Smith. Romped in at her maiden and followed that up with a brave effort when breezing and only being run down late by a handy type. It was daylight to the rest of the field and if she repeats that performance she just wins this. ALL THAT SIZZLE is one of a couple of chances metro trainer Neville Parker brings Kal. The visitors draw is the only concern. SUITS ME got home like Kiwi Bride to score his maiden victory. Was back with the coffee van at the furlong. VITAL TOUCH has been thereabouts and can run in the money.

Race 6

MONASH ticks a few boxes. Off 7 days, back in trip and senior rider Andrew Castle back on board, he is a versatile type who can be ridden to suit the track conditions and should give backers a better sight than last week. PALMA MERENTI mowed down Excaro and that form should be enhanced earlier in the day. RARE SELECTION is racing in tremendous fashion and really runs for Autier. ALL SQUARE is racing well below her best but has had great success at this track previously and is worth including in your exotics.

Race 7

GLUTEN FREE looks another progressive type for the Cambana Lodge team. Autier took luck out of the equation and rode him like the best horse in the race and the tactics will be identical here. Very hard to get past. SONG OF WAR was doing his best work late in the same race, whether or not he can turn the tables is the question. ILLMATIC returns to the care of Craig Wright and still has races left in him. WESTERN STAR can elevate 2nd up from the low draw. Worth following this fellow.
