Race 4 – No. 4  Withers Monelli

First up from a spell and better suited over longer but he is a swift beginner who will be strong at the finish. Can surprise in his return to racing.

Race 6 – No. 6  Mild Marcus

Too strong after missing the kick over 405m last start when winning in good time. The rise in trip suits and can prove too smart once again.

Race 11 – No. 8  Chevy Gold

Handy chaser who hasn’t been jumping all that well lately but he has his favourite draw and is capable of turning it all around in this line up.

Each Way:

Race 5 – No. 9  Santa’s Magic

Wasn’t beaten all that far in his heat last week after losing plenty of early momentum but still finished off solidly when it was all over. Will be relying on luck but can surprise with the right run.

Race 5 – No. 1  Rambo’s Boy

Has his first red rug since finishing runner up to Sir Monty in 29.93 well back in July. Racing well without winning lately and gets his chance to post his first win in almost three months.

Race 8 – No. 6  Needs More Kuna

Can handle a wide draw and has been racing in red hot form over a variety of distances. Faces her toughest test yet but she was strong on debut over the trip last start and can keeps the good times rolling with her early pace.

Race 10 – No. 8  Veyron Star

Has a great record in pink and her last victory was an all the way win from the draw in an All Stars heat in 29.98. Unplaced in 3 since but she is expected to turn her form around in the small line up.

Race 11 – No. 4  Wicked Rhythm

Slick beginner who makes her 600m debut against a couple of handy up and coming middle distance types but breeding suggests she’ll appreciate the rise in distance and should make her presence felt for a long way.

Race 8 – No. 1  Fantastic Gigi

Shared the spoils when dead-heating for first last week in City Company. Drops in class and drawn ideally. Looks too strong for this line up.

Race 9 – No. 4  Shirakaba

Backmarker with just 1 victory from 19 career starts but her most recent effort over 490m at Mandurah suggested she is nearing her next win. Just needs the breaks to go her way to finish heavily in the money.

Race 11 – No. 2  Big Boy Bundy

Too slick when motoring around here in a BON 21.83 on Monday. This is tougher but he has drawn perfectly in stripes and will take plenty of running down again.
