Race 3 – No. 8  Groomer McGrath

Runner up at his past couple in this grade and tougher when beaten by smallish margins. He does his best work from wide draws and is capable of running time and is not expected to be hanging around this grade for much longer.

Race 9 – No. 8  Warrior Will

Former NSW chaser who can handle a wide draw. He has plenty of early toe and a couple of his wins have been in Best Of the Night times over similar distances. If he’s anywhere near the lead in the turn for home, he’ll go close to making his WA debut a winning one.

Race 11 – No. 1  West On Beth    SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd.

Exceptionally-bred chaser who found a bit of form when 3rd over the shorter 405m last week. She has a good record over this trip and has run as quick as 27.56 from a similar draw in the past. Has her best chance yet of finding winning form.
