Race 6 – No. 1  Deerview Storm    SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win)

Handled this rug a bit awkwardly when resuming from a spell last week but still did a good job to finish 3rd in a tougher line up than this. He’ll be fitter for the run and if he stays on the straight and narrow at the start, he will be hard to beat tonight.

Race 9 – No. 8  Kid Kansas

Perth Cup finalist who will appreciate the withdrawal of a couple of his tougher rivals in what was already a small but select line up. While he hasn’t been jumping all that well of late, he has been finishing off his races well and looks mighty hard to beat tonight. Just don’t expect a juicy price about him.

Race 10 – No. 8  Pyredos Monelli

A lot to like about his win last week in a smart 29.85 against a stronger bunch than these. He has the class edge to overcome the handicap of a wide draw and will prove hard to hold out again if close enough on the home turn.
