Race 1

MY HAMMER DOWN (6) has been very brave in both runs since coming across to WA and the form line has held up well with a silver medal behind Captains Creek last start, he has the draw advantage over his main rivals and looks very hard to beat. CHARIVARI (10) is a nice type, but the draw is tricky over the distance. BASINGHALL (1) looks to have ability, ideal draw and appears a strong place chance. CHARLI BROWN (7) will get a perfect run and becomes a novelty hope with the speedy PRINCE OF TRIBECA (8) who will be closing off well.

Suggested Bet: BASINGHALL (1) to place.

Race 2

BELLA RAGAZZA (1) has the perfect draw with the form to win and the speed to lead, but birthday boy Kyle Symington will have to drive a canny race as his main danger has drawn his back in SEA FURY (7), who has been racing in tremendous form, will be very hard to hold out if he can get some daylight. HAVEYOUMETTED (10) has been unlucky as of late and think he has good ability, happy to include him in novelties at odds. CULLEN STAR (5) can do some work in his races and stick on, novelty chance with SHES A MARE (3) and SUKHOVEY WINDSTORM (2)

Suggested Bet: BELLA RAGAZZA (1) to win.

Race 3

Open event here. ILLAWONG MUSTANG (8) has a nice trailing draw and has been racing against stronger opposition, it appears that there could be enough pace on in the event to suit his racing style and thought he was a decent each way chance. NORTHVIEW DANCE (10) moves back to a mobile and has the depth to overcome the draw. LETS GET ROCKIN (2) lacks a little bit of early speed but if he could work his way to the top he would be hard to beat. MACHLANI (1) may have something to say about the early lead, he has had excuses in recent runs and could be an improver here. LORD TITANIUM (6) is a novelty chance and will be suited to the distance, FEELING ACES (7) can improve from the draw but recent form has been below his best.

Suggested Bet: ILLAWONG MUSTANG (8) each way

Race 4

Looks a two-horse race here. FAT LOUIE (7) has the depth and versatility to overcome a tricky draw, he is lightly raced but looks to have a lot of upside going forward in his career. OVERLY EXCITED (5) has always been a horse with plenty of ability but also can throw in some curveballs, his trial was decent, and he has the draw advantage, will run a big race on return. STATE MY CASE (4) is never far away and looks a novelty player with KINSAABI (8) who raced in a weaker race but performed well, so can bob up at odds in the novelties here. SONIC SEELSTER (2) and ELEPHANT ROCK (9) both should be considered in terms of novelties.

Suggested Bet: FAT LOUIE (7) to win.

Race 5

AMERICAN MONARCH (8) looks to be a big player in this, looks to be a bit of genuine tempo which will play into her hands here. She has good closing speed and looks hard to hold out late. FRANCO WESTERN (9) likely follows the favourite every step of the way and has the closing speed to be right there at the finish. VINTAGE BLU (5) is a rolling type so the draw will suit him to roll forward and stick on strongly. STAPLETON (1) can mix form but is a novelty chance with FOLLOW MY STRIDE (2), PRIDDAH (7) and GOLD HORSESHOE (10).

Suggested Bet: AMERICAN MONARCH (8) to win.

Race 6

SHEZA SASSY LASSY (3) has been impressive since commencing her career, she has the draw advantage over a lot of her main rivals and looks hard to beat in this event. HEARTOFAHLIA (5) can do the work, and she has been doing plenty of that in recent runs but performances haven’t waivered and she will be in the thick of it again. RIPPER VIEW (8) was solid last time out and has a nice trailing draw, expecting her to be finishing off well. BROOKVALEGIRL (4) has the speed to potentially bounce on the bunny and then has options, this is easier than her most recent run. DIAMOND WORLD (7) and AMARETTO ANGEL (9) are novelty chances if the tempo suits.

Suggested Bet: SHEZA SASSY LASSY (3) to win.

Race 7 

MY SILVER SPOON (10) looks perfectly placed and should get the win here, he appears to be a class above his rivals but will be a good things price. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (5) has the speed to potentially bounce on the lead and run a race. HERE COMES SHARKIE (8) will be running on well, his recent form has been solid enough. PACIFIC EAGLE (1), ZUEDE (2) and EXTINCTION (6) are all place chances from their respective draws.

Tips: 10 5 8 6

Suggested Bet: MY SILVER SPOON (10) to win.

Race 8

BATAVIA STORM (1) gets a perfect draw to show his best, he is fourth up into the preparation and looks hard to beat in this grade. ROCKINTHEBOX (7) can improve after a disappointing return, lovely draw for him here. LUHRSY (3) is suited by the grade, major player if he could cross them. Novelty chances for I SEE FIRE (5), FOLLOW THE MILKYWAY (6) and DANNIKA (8) who can get a soft run on the peg line.
