Matt Young’s Tuesday Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 17, 2025November 17, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 WAVE REBELLION (6) was outstanding in her victory last time out after looping the field in the final lap and winning by a big margin, she is better known for that capacity of not being used early but the temptation could be there to try and keep the advantage on her main rivals, hard to go against her after her last win. FABULOUS DREAM (8) is a versatile type who drops in grade and has plenty of ability, has good early speed. HUNGER STRIKE (7) is a nice type who also could head forward at the start and run a bold race, she is knocking on the door. KINKY (9) needs a bit to go her way but she is racing well enough. PIPERS PARADE (2) could be driven confidently and might be one at value who will be close to the pace with OFFICIAL ROCK (5) who is racing well and needs the speed on. Tips: 6 8 7 9 Suggested Bet: WAVE REBELLION (6) to win. Race 2 GALVINSTON JOHN (4) could be in the A1 position here as SONIC SEELSTER (3) looks to cross again and will take the trail, some of GALVINSTON JOHN (4) form as of late has been solid enough for this and he should go well. FUEGO CRUZADO (9) looks the testing material but the draw hurts. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (1) going well enough but could need luck if she gets crossed again. ZUEDE (6) and METEOROID (8) will be running on. Tips: 4 9 1 3 Suggested Bet: GALVINSTON JOHN (4) to win. Race 3 AT THE POINTY END (12) returns and looks well placed, he may need the run, but this grade looks to suit him perfectly and he should get the job done here. CHERRY ON THE CAKE (4) looks the likely early leader and should give a sight in front. The draw hurts the chances of LETS ROCK TONIGHT (7), VINTAGE BLU (8) and BOBBY WATERHOUSE (9). Novelty chances to JILLIBY JAKE (1) who should settle close enough, expect ADMIRAL DARCY (10) to storm home if the gaps appear at the right time for him. Tips: 12 4 10 8 Suggested Bet: AT THE POINTY END (12) to win. Race 4 YAWOMA (1) gets another chance from the good draw to run a bold race and no reason he couldn’t break through for a well-deserved win but thought he was a step or so below his best last time out. MAD MONDAY (6) on the other hand continues to improve and looks a major player and he is starting to show real versatility. ATLANTIC GEM (8) was strong in her victory last time out, but this looks challenging from the draw with SISTER CHERIE (7) who is consistent. ROCK ME OVER (9) can do the work required in this grade and is a chance even from the river. Novelty chances to BEYOND BLING (11) and MARBEECHSAM (10). Tips: 6 1 8 9 Suggested Bet: YAWOMA/MAD MONDAY to quinella. Race 5 ARUM (12) is suited again in this grade, capacity field from the draw makes it a little bit tougher but he was held up at a vital point last run before powering through the line, expect him to close again. CARA DIANA (5) can be driven forward, and this class suits her, she’ll be in the money. DEAR DOLLY (6) has ability but faces the awkward draw, has the high speed to come from back in the field. OH MIKI (8) was a beaten favourite last time out, fitter but will have to do some work. LOW FLYIN (7) and ELLEOFAREACTOR (11) can be considered for novelty investments. Tips: 12 5 6 8 Suggested Bet: ARUM (12) each way. Race 6 ROCKSTAR QUALITY (7) can bounce back here, looked to the eye to be a touch disappointing last start but this maps a bit better and the tempo could suit him, expect him to bounce back. EASTERN ADVANCE (8) has come back in terrific order and Hayden Hancock is doing a wonderful job with him, the draw is a leveller as he won’t get to be on speed in this, makes life a lot harder. IWILL NEVER KNOW (4) will no doubt be driven forward to try and lead and if he found that position, he could run well first up. BROOKVALEGIRL (1) has options, and the draw allows her to finish in the money. AIR MARSHAL (3) is always thereabouts. KINSAABI (6) capable. Tips: 7 4 8 6 Suggested Bet: ROCKSTAR QUALITY (7) to win. Race 7 MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (3) looks a major player here, he has had excuses along the way, and this looks a suitable race as their could be speed on and he is likely to be close enough and be very dangerous. DUNKALLEDY (2) will be all guns blazing to try and lead and on his last effort he will give a sight if he can lead. COPPER HEAD LADY (5) is most certainly capable but comes in fresh and with the small field that should improve her chances. CAPTAINS CREEK (1) holds the key to the race off the inside draw. DELULU (6) will be running on, won a similar race last week but will need win it in a similar way. JAXS IDEAL (4) is a watch first up in this grade. Tips: 3 5 2 6 Suggested Bet: MAJOR MIKI WHITBY (3) to win. Market Market
