Matt Young’s Saturday Northam Preview Posted on November 13, 2025November 14, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 CURADH (9) looks incredibly hard to beat in this, looks to have the measure of his rivals here and should be fitter for the first up effort. LONESTAR WARRIOR (6) has good speed and maybe crosses them and will give a sight but has had a few chances. DEKLA DIVA (1) ideally drawn and can be considered for the novelties with SNAKEY BAY (3) and BOLD JACKIE (8). Tips: 9 6 1 8 Suggested Bet: DEKLA DIVA (1) to place. Race 2 HES THUNDER (6) is a rolling type and should roll toward the leading pack and can win this from the breeze, will be hard to beat. ADDA PARIS (2) is a front running type who gets the chance to potentially lead and run a better race. FOLLOW MY STRIDE (1) is a tricky horse to follow, nice draw and can be placed from the draw. METEOROID (7) will be hoping to be no further back than 3 the fence and can be considered for the novelties with DON’T GOIN THEWATER (3) who is racing well but map looks a bit tricky. Tips: 6 2 1 3 Suggested Bet: HES THUNDER (6) to win. Race 3 REELEM INN (8) is a versatile type, and this grade looks suitable for her, should settle close enough and be hard to hold out. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (4) is racing well and looks a solid chance to be in the money. SIMPLYTHEBEST (6) must be considered but the draw is difficult. DISPATCHER (1) is a novelty chance and LIQUIDATOR (2) is capable and should be kept safe with her early speed. CYCLONE TONY (5) creates interest. Tips: 3 2 10 7 Suggested Bet: DISPATCHER (2) each way. Race 4 PINNY NOIR (5) has good early speed and looks the likely leader here and can turn the tables on the likely danger in BOUJEE BOY (10) who has come back well and looks to have the depth to overcome the draw, but PINNY NOIR (5) looks to have a better map to get the win. THE BETTOR SIDE (6) returns and has plenty of ability, will run a good race but draw makes it harder. SEMINOLE JUNIOR (7) is a novelty chance with SAVE ME (3) and THE KHUKRI (8). Tips: 5 10 6 7 Suggested Bet: PINNY NOIR (5) to win. Race 5 XCITE ME (2) looks well placed on her return, has good early speed and looks the likely leader and will run a big race. LORD TITANIUM (5) creates interest coming in first up for Aiden De Campo, he’s a solid type and expect him to run well even in his return run. BACK ON LINE (4) should get a good run and can be included with DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (6) who will be running on well. BEYOND BLING (7) is a strong novelty player if the gaps open at the right time. MORE SASS (1) can be placed but nowhere near her best. Tips: 2 5 7 4 Suggested Bet: XCITE ME (2) to win. Race 6 HENTY (3) can bounce back, last run was disappointing, but the prior run was outstanding so just hoping it was second up syndrome and nothing more, has the draw advantage and can get the job done. WATCH ME WAVE (8) has depth and looks hard to hold out, won’t be far away again. GOGGINS (6) and VINTAGE BLU (5) are both capable, look decent novelty chances with GOODONYA MATE (1) who must be considered for the place prospects from the draw. Tips: 3 8 5 1 Suggested Bet: HENTY (3) to win. Race 7 ECLIPSE LINE (4) creates interest and reads up well for a race of this nature, can get the job done but likely to start short with a debut run in the west for Michael Young. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (6) is racing soundly but has a tricky draw, will run home well with ELEPHANT ROCK (5) who is versatile in this grade, looks a decent chance. FIREBALL FRIDAY (2) and ROCKINTHEBOX (3) next best with the latter an improver second up. Tips: 4 6 5 3 Suggested Bet: ECLIPSE LINE (4) to win. Market Market
