Race 1

NOWUSEEMEGRIN (5) hasn’t had the best of luck in recent runs and looks well suited here, should head forward and can do some work in this and be hard to beat. ALLIZEE (2) lacks a bit of early speed but was racing with more consistency before having a freshen up, shouldn’t be too far away. ALTA GABBANA (1) has had a few chances now and isn’t the safest horse away, if she can settle close enough, she will go well. STARANNA (8) drawn to get a soft run and comes in with novelty claims with ROCKNROLL DILINGER (10) who is an outside chance.

Suggested Bet: NOWUSEEMEGRIN (5) to win.

Race 2

DUNAMIS (4) is racing well and looks suited in this grade, he is one of the few horses who can do the work in the race and still be there at the finish, hard to hold out. THIS TIME JACKO (10) has had some torrid runs in recent time but has been luckless, will be running on strongly in this. IDEAL WHITBY (3) has the draw advantage and likely be driven forward, looks a solid chance but has had a few opportunities. SWEET SASSYMOLASSY (5) having her first run for the calendar year faces a tricky draw. SAGATIOUS (8) and WELLOILED (9) will both be running home well.

Suggested Bet: DUNAMIS (4) to win.

Race 3

PRINCE OF TRIBECA (12) is racing well and comes into this race with the best form line along side BASINGHALL (11), the former normally relies on his high speed where the latter may be put into the event and that could be the difference in the race. LEEROY ROX (9) is racing well and drawn to follow through and shouldn’t be too far away. ANYWHEREIGOHUGO (3) is a novelty chance with AGENT ANDY (2) and SUGAR BOO (6).

Tips: 11 12 9 2

Suggested Bet: BASINGHALL (11) to win.

Race 4

Open race. GOLD HORSESHOE (3) has been consistent in recent runs but is finding it hard to break through so becomes risky in diving into a win bet on him. GET YA BETS ON (4) has been mixing his form since returning but this grade should see an improvement. WANDERING GIRL (7) had a strong preparation last time in for Dean Chandler and must be respected on return, can do some work but may need the run. SNAKEY BAY (6) has elevated but faces a tricky draw. RELLIM (10) is capable when he puts his best foot forward but can mix his form. SWEET DUNCAN (2) is racing better than numerical form suggests, think he could run a race at odds. TROIS FONTAINE (1) a place chance. MASTER LEIGHTON (9) is capable but just a step below his best in recent runs.

Suggested Bet: SWEET DUNCAN (2) each way.

Race 5

SKIP A BEAT (7) is suited in this grade and can do some work to get the victory, wouldn’t want to be diving in too short but looks the top pick on current form. CHEKKER (1) is ideally drawn and strips fitter, has options from the draw. TURBO JAY (3) creates interest in the first run in the west, Bob Mellsop does a good job with his team so this must be respected. ARUM (8) comes in fresh and has drawn to get a good run. HEZ SPECIAL (4) has put together two good runs but steps up in distance. ALTA KING (10) comes in fresh and is capable when right.

Suggested Bet: SKIP A BEAT (7) to win.

Race 6

Open race.  IM ROCKIN ROD (4) is racing consistently and was close to the speed last time out and closed off well, has good early speed and could cross here and from there be very hard to run down. TA IN ADVANCE (9) is suited in this grade and forget he went around last time out, should be getting home well with THEYCALL ME STOOGE (10) who is racing in similar form. I SEE FIRE (1) is a novelty chance with ITSOKTOBEGREY (3) who could improve in this grade, but early brilliance is rare. MISTER KOPA (8) needs some luck but hit the line well in recent runs and must be included in novelties.

Tips: 4 9 10 8

Suggested Bet: IM ROCKIN ROD (4) each way.

Race 7

SWEET WISH (6) picks herself after dashing home to win nicely in her debut run before a solid trial prior to that, will be Winx like odds in this race. NELLYS WORLD (4) has caught my eye in recent runs and could be value for the place, think she could be a further improver in this and get into the money. HIGHVIEW ROZI (7) did plenty of work first up and should be fitter, can improve in this. Novelty chances to AELLO (1) from the good draw and chances with TOMMORROW MAN (5) and TIPSYBYTHESEASIDE (9).

Suggested Bet: NELLYS WORLD (4) to place.
