Race 1

Open race, going to play some value on one that I have been following with ALTA GABBANA (7) as I think she has the depth to overcome the draw, was a good run two starts back and just couldn’t get into it last time out, better suited here and the price will be right to have a play. ALFA JESS (10) has been racing against tougher fields, and this is more suitable but could come up shorter than expected. ULTIMATE SASS (3) has beaten this lineup before and drops back in grade after taking on tougher opposition, expecting a decent improvement here. PRINCESS AVIATOR (6) has had a few chances and draws awkwardly and a harder draw for OUR SERAPHINA (9) brings her back to the pack too.

Suggested Bet: ALTA GABBANA (7) each way

Race 2

MY MACHANE (4) is knocking on the door and looks very hard to beat, dashed up to them but just couldn’t land the final blow to get victory last time out, has the advantage over a lot of his rivals and can break through. THE BLACK CHERRY (1) creates interest, it was outside putting the pressure on last time out before weakening and looks to have ability, steps up to the 2185m and has options from the draw. BROOME BEACH (11) and NITE SNIPER (12) both have talent but the draws level their chances somewhat. CROWD PLEEZER (5) and PORT TO PLEASE (3) return from a break and the former has shown the most promise out of the pair thus far. ROMAN GUARD (10) reads up soundly and can be included in novelties.

Suggested Bet: THE BLACK CHERRY (1) to place.

Race 3

GRUMPEE (6) was very impressive in winning his last race and the start prior really put the writing on the wall, looks hard to beat in this and if he does everything right, he should win again. ULTIMATE TESS (11) really dashed into it after doing things wrong early last time out, but when she was looming, she did things wrong again, the ability seems to be there and expect her to run well in this. ALDEBARAN JENSEN (10) sustained a good run last time out and looks the main danger based on the fact he seems to do everything correctly. KYVALLEY PAINT (1) is a place chance from the draw and comes into novelty contention with SELLUNE (7) and MRIYA DREAM (8) who have both got awkward draws for their styles.

Tips: 6 9 11 8

Suggested Bet: GRUMPEE (6) to win.

Race 4

YAWOMA (6) has the draw advantage and should be driven forward and looks likely to get to the top, he has good ability and appears very hard to beat in this. BOUJEE BOY (10) is a consistent performer and can punch through and lob handy enough in this and should be in the money. ELITE FLEET (12) appeared disappointing last time out but he was fresh into that run and expecting a sharper version of him today. THE BETTOR SIDE (7) has an awkward draw to overcome but is racing well. Novelty chances can include ELVIRA JANE (1), MONTERIO (2) and PRINCE OF TRIBECA (4).

Tips: 6 12 10 7

Suggested Bet: YAWOMA (6) to win.

Race 5

DANGER (8) has a nice trailing draw here behind a quick beginner and should be further improved from the last effort and looks a strong winning chance in this. IN MY OWN TIME (1) has impressed in trials and the 9yo debutante has good early speed and over the short course might try and go the distance. NUCLEAR CRUISER (4) and CARA DIANA (5) both racing well enough with the latter having a few more strings to her bow currently. ELLEOFAREACTOR (10) will be running on from the back of the field and looks more of a novelty chance with CAPPY THE FIREY (3) and THE ULTIMATE BEACH (11).

Tips: 8 1 5 4

Suggested Bet: DANGER (8) each way.

Race 6

COOPERS IDEAL (10) looks suited in this grade and can punch through from the back row and land in a good position and looks a strong chance. CINDYS SECRET (3) has the speed to lead early and then has options, expecting her to run a good race in this, more for the place but will be on speed. DIAMOND BAY (12) is capable but the draw at the distance is never an easy task. HEARTOFAHLIA (11) faces a similar battle, but the overall class is easier than what she has been facing. THE SWINDLER (4) lacks that early speed, so the draw is incredibly awkward for her. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (5) had no luck on Saturday night, and prior form was decent but a tricky map for her also.

Tips: 10 3 12 5

Suggested Bet: CINDYS SECRET (3) to place.

Race 7 

Open race with a bit of speed in it early. JAMIE KIM (1) has options from the draw and looks suited in the grade but has good early speed and races well on pace. SONIC SEELSTER (5) will be coming out hard and looking for the top but then will want to hand over, not confident that he can cross today. EASTERN ADVANCE (7) has depth and will likely head forward and must call into his reserves late. SWITCH BLADE (2) racing well and there is a chance he could get to the pegs if the gaps open and becomes a strong novelty chance. HURRICANEHOPE (4) was solid last time out but this draw is a bit tricky, has some early speed to try and go forward. CLASSNSMART (8) is racing well, ready to win but early speed following through is a major concern to his chances.

Suggested Bet: JAMIE KIM (1) each way.

Race 8 

CLASSICAL ELLIE (1) has the nice draw and will be interesting to see how she is driven, has been a run on type and appears to be up in grade a touch here but getting back to her better form, strong chance but wouldn’t want to dive in too short. SWIZZLESTICK (10) wasn’t a bad effort on return and can watch things unfold, expect a bold performance from him. DOURADO (6) likely heads forward and is aggressive to try and get the top, will go close in this grade. JASPERVELLABEACH (11) was good in winning last time out but won’t get the luxury of leading from this draw. GOLD HORSESHOE (2) was solid last time out and is a novelty chance with CURADH (7) who goes up in grade noticeably here, LENORA JANE (8) returns from the perfect draw to be included in novelties.

Tips: 10 6 1 2

Suggested Bet: SWIZZLESTICK (10) each way.

Race 9 

STIRUP IRON JACK (7) will be driven forward and likes the mile and has good early speed, expecting him to be putting the pace on and could set it up for some swoopers in this. IM DRINKINDOUBLES (11) is racing well and happy to play him on top in an open race, his last couple have been solid. VYBRANT (8) is ready to win and should be in the first half of the field and then just needs to weave into the clear. IM GRAFTER (10) is also racing well but just needs a touch of luck. GEARSINAWHIRL (1) is speedy and comes in with place claims but will have ELEPHANT ROCK (4) charging forward and potentially SPINNER OF YARNS (2) so the pace will be on. DUNAMIS (3) can improve in this grade after a few runs under his belt.

Tips: 11 8 10 7

Suggested Bet: IM DRINKINDOUBLES (11) each way.
