Race 1

THAT’S NOT MY GAIT (7) performed a lot better on Friday night and looks to be heading in the right direction, the grade suits and she could be the better price and expect her to run a bold race. ARISTOTLE (8) has yet to fire since coming to WA but has had some excuses so this will be a good gauge as to where he is at. ELISH STAR (4) has speed and is consistent but is finding it hard to break through. TILTHESUNSETS (1) is a novelty chance with MAJESTIC MARION (5), LAVRADORE (3) and BETTY BOOTZ OFF (9).

Suggested Bet: THAT’S NOT MY GAIT (7) to win.

Race 2

METHUSELAH (5) creates a lot of interest coming across to WA as a debutante, the workouts in NZ have shown good ability and the stable have been firing with their NZ purchases this season, looks hard to beat. STRONG THE STRIKER (6) has good ability and comes in fresh, expecting a bold run from him here. LAST KING OF CAPEL (7) is racing in good form, but the draw is against him. SOME LINE (3) looks a decent chance to run in the money again, finding it hard to break through. TOO FAR AWAY TED (4) next best. HUDSON STREET (1) trialled up soundly, could run in the top 4 from the draw.

Suggested Bet: METHUSELAH (5) to win.

Race 3

EDGEEZ GIRL (8) is drawing as awkwardly as Leap To Fame lately and comes up with a draw that puts her fate in the hands of a few other runners. Has ability and should be hitting the line strongly but wouldn’t want to be diving in too short. PIPERS PARADE (1) trialled up soundly, has speed and looks the likely leader and will run a bold race. ELVIRA JANE (12) is knocking loudly on the door but the draw over a mile is incredibly difficult. THREE FLAMES (10) has comes back soundly but will be running on strongly. ROCK ON BILLIE (5) is a novelty chance as there appears to be some ability.

Suggested Bet: EDGEEZ GIRL/PIPERS PARADE to quinella.

Race 4

TUBBS FARQUHAR (3) has the speed to lead and will give them something to catch, he is a bold front runner and will take all types of gunning down. STAPLETON (4) did sit outside him and beat him home a few starts ago but has had a few tough runs since then and may have to do it again. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (2) doesn’t win out of turn but will be close enough from the draw. KARAOKE STAR (8) and THEYCALL ME STOOGE (10) both capable of running on strongly.

Tips: 3 4 2 8

Suggested Bet: TUBBS FARQUHAR/STAPLETON to quinella.

Race 5

Open race. IDEAL INTEREST (11) bounced back to some better form last time out and continue the upward trajectory and get into the money again, hopefully he’s an each way chance from the draw. TOMMY PRICE (12) is racing well, needs some luck from the draw but will be running on strongly. CLASSICAL ELLIE (8) hit the line well last run in good time, looks like she’s ready to run a big race, could be a price and just needs some luck. ERA (5) better suited at shorter, but he is racing well enough to play a part with his early speed. GET YA BETS ON (10) is capable, not the worst in this as he has come back well. Novelty chances include HONOUR THE EAGLE (2).

Suggested Bet: CLASSICAL ELLIE (8) each way.

Race 6

GEARSINAWHIRL (5) has the speed to cross and last start they took the trail and therefore he holds the key to the race, should be in the money again. BEALAWYER (8) will run well, he will be heading forward but may have to do some work in the breeze. GALVINSTON JOHN (6) has good speed and likely attacks for the top and could lead, winning chance if that map occurs. IDEAL SECRET (3) could be close enough to earn with SUB MARINER (4) who is racing well enough to perform. IM DRINKINDOUBLES (9) can improve but needs luck from the draw.

Tips: 8 6 5 4

Suggested Bet: GEARSINAWHIRL (5) to place.

Race 7

RELATIVELY ARMA (7) is ready to win, she was breathing fire last time out and should’ve won with any luck, looks hard to beat and likely to be driven like the best horse. CHASING REX (12) creates interest as he is first up for Gary Hall Snr but must overcome the tough draw on WA debut. Early speed is intriguing, MANEA (1) can run into the top 4 and has the nice draw although it’s a rise in grade. COOPER (2) has good early speed and might have a crack for the top. STRAUNY (3) is a horse who can burn the candle at both ends and likely has a dip for a forward position with MAJOR FREEWAY (4) and SUGAR STREET (5) who all perform well when they are up on speed. OFF THE CHARTS (9) will be running on and the lead time could determine his chances late.

Suggested Bet: RELATIVELY ARMA (7) each way.

Race 8

WORLD SECRET (4) has been in career best form since entering the stables of Nathan Turvey, her last few have been outstanding and may have to do the work again, but she has proven she is well and truly up to that, go close. OUR LILILOU (1) comes in fresh and has early speed but looks a novelty chance with her early speed but could be some decent attackers with ZLATO (2) and MADDY LOU (3). ROCK ME OVER (9) will run a bold race; he has been performing nicely against stronger fields and has depth. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (10) is a novelty chance with FRANCO MECCA (8) and NORTHVIEW DANCE (12).

Tips: 4 9 10 1

Suggested Bet: WORLD SECRET (4) to win.

Race 9

YAWOMA (11) is a very smart type who is finding it hard to break through but not through lack of brilliant performances, should serve it up to them again and looks very hard to beat. BOUJEE BOY (3) is fitter after a solid return and debut for the new stable, must be respected with a front row draw. PINNY NOIR (5) will be heading forward and looking for the top and he will give them something to catch. Novelty chances include SHEER ROCK LADY (2) who continues to improve with WICKED WINDERMERE (4), LUCKY COPY (8), CIGANDA (9) and DOTTIES IMPACT (10).

Tips: 11 3 5 10

Suggested Bet: BOUJEE BOY (3) each way.
