Race 1

ROCKY MAGUIRE (8) will breathe a sigh of relief as he scores up and doesn’t see the stablemate By Royal Command in this, he has been playing bridesmaid to the stable companion in recent runs and this looks a suitable race for him, can break through. CASSINI BELLE (1) ideally drawn and has been racing against tougher, looks an improver here. OFFICIAL ROCK (7) should be close enough and won’t have to spend a penny, could be dangerous late. DO IT MY WAY (2) is improving and looks a novelty chance with SHES ALL GO (2) who could improve as she drops in grade.

Suggested Bet: ROCKY MAGUIRE (8) to win.

Race 2

Open race here. JAMIE KIM (1) looks the likely leader, and form has been solid to run a bold race here but will have some nice types asking questions of him with ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (3) racing in good form and is versatile, shouldn’t be too far away. I SEE FIRE (4) is up in grade, but he has been consistent, early speed is a concern. TUBBS FARQUHAR (5) and GOTA GOOD WARHOL (6) both racing in similar fashion and could put the tempo on, I think this will really suit BETTERTHAN SECRET (8) who went to the line bolting two starts ago and has a powerful turn of foot, expecting her to be dangerous late.

Suggested Bet: BETTERTHAN SECRET (8) to win.

Race 3

GOGGINS (7) is racing in good form, and this represents a touch easier for him, and he has the versatility to watch things early and overcome the draw. GHOSTWRITER (5) won well last time out and can go on with the job, capable type with some early speed but looks to be some toe underneath early. HUGHEY (6) needs some luck from the draw but has been consistent. MY GRAND ANGUS (3) was better last run and can continue the improvement.

Tips: 7 5 3 6

Suggested Bet: GOGGINS (7) to win.

Race 4

Another open race. CINDYS SECRET (10) could be a touch of unders from the draw, but she is racing well enough, will need a few things to go right. INTERNAL WAVES (6) has a wide draw to overcome but is racing in consistent form, if she can find a position early she could be dangerous and while that is happening I think MAJOR BUZZ (9) could be sitting back and smoking the pipe and having the last crack at them, think he is going soundly and this could suit him. SNAKEY BAY (3) is a mixed bag and BLIND EDITION (4) is improving, both have gate speed. CAPPY THE FIREY (1) has the draw and is improving but is a long-time maiden against winners.

Tips: 9 6 10 4

Suggested Bet: MAJOR BUZZ (9) each way.

Race 5

MORE SASS (2) has yet to recapture her best form but has the draw to lead and could run a cheeky race out in front, this will be the line in the sand moment for her this preparation, I think. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (5) drops in grade and is racing well, he looks versatile, and, in this grade, he will be very hard to hold out. THOMSON BAY (6) wasn’t a bad effort last time out and can do some work, expect him to run well. MAJIC BAY (9) will be hoping for some tempo, expect him to run home well. AMERICAN MONARCH (3) and EYE BETTER (4) look to have tricky maps and have been mixing their form. TARTAN ROBYN (8) capable but comes in fresh.

Tips: 5 2 6 9

Suggested Bet: DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (5) to win.

Race 6

RAMBO RABBIT (7) is racing well, and this grade looks to suit, expect them to settle early and him to be popping around to issue a challenge, think he will run a race from leading or breezing. THE RIGHTEOUS (1) has the perfect draw but early speed is a concern for him and the stablemate THE WHIZZER (4) who are both lively chances if things go their way but prefer the pole-marker as he will settle closer. SOUNDS LIKE FUN (2) needs to lift off the last run but fitness would have improved. CRY HAVOC (6) drops in grade and although he’s not at his best he has bullets to fire in this, expect him to run a bold race.

Tips: 7 6 1 4

Suggested Bet: RAMBO RABBIT (7) each way.

Race 7

LIQUIDATOR (5) is a quick beginner and will be looking for the top, if she finds the lead I think she will be very hard to run down. IDEAL WHITBY (8) has come back well and this grade suits and he has further improvement expected with fitness, should run a bold race. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (3) will be hunting for the top and could be cheeky if he is in the slipstream. SANFORD BART (1) is a novelty chance from the good draw with a likely improvement from THEJEWELINHEREYE (6) as she drops in grade.

Tips: 5 8 3 1

Suggested Bet: LIQUIDATOR (5) to win.
