Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Tips Posted on December 22, 2022March 10, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 7 Danish Lace and No. 2 West On Fire No more for the 7 if she doesn’t beat these. Her best box manners and early speed would put these away. The 2 is thorn in her side here with her good box speed. Will be there from the get go. One of them should be leading throughout here. Race 5 No. 6 Wise Suffolk If she can step, she can accelerate here and find the top and cross. Will improve on last weeks first up effort and be hard to catch. Race 12 No. 4 Broome Time Best dog in the race. Speed inside should clear him early and give him muster room. Untouched he should sail past the leaders and take over then go all the way from there. Hard to beat. SANDOWN PARK Race 5 No. 5 Weblec Scout He was super last week and he will get to the fence and be strong again with clear running. Fav out now increase his chances immensely. Race 7 No. 8 Galloping Speed The bolter of the night. He’s far from hopeless and can hit the podium here. Goes fast mid race and can hold that to the line without a check. Place heavy spec here. Can surprise at odds. Race 8 No. 7 My Bonneville and No. 4 Jackpot Joan Disappointed in the 7 when she got there last week. Expected more in the run home but prepared to forgive. She has a lot of talent. The 4 continues to race superbly. Placed in the Laurels and can handle this trip too. Will be there throughout the pace. Race 10 No. 2 Tiggerlong Nibel Boxed to give this a huge shake. Strong middle section and he’s in form. Loves staying nailed to the fence and will continue to drive home and if he’s close up the back, they will have trouble holding him off. Great show. ANGLE PARK Race 4 No. 2 Finniss Surprise and No. 7 Finniss Whisper The kennel mates to go well here. The 2 has the draw and he can muster but he has to begin. If he holds the arm he’s the one. The 7 has box speed and can rush over here. She sticks on strongly and should not be dismissed. Race 5 No. 8 Powder Finger and No. 4 Orson Emmy The 8 is a huge huge show here. If he steps well enough and holds a high line, he can land where they don’t want him. Will win if he finds the top at any stage. Small save on the 4 because she can capitalise from the back on any trouble. Runs on well. The 8 is the main go. Race 6 No. 4 Basil Brush Rose and No. 8 Zipping Chew Big efforts from these boys last week. The 4 is getting better each week he steps out here and has a booming back and last section. The 8 was stiff as week old bread last start. Should have won and he’s ready now. Can handle all draws. Both dogs solid late here. Race 7 No. 7 Spring Phoebe and No. 6 Redeem A Prize The 7 will go better this time if she steps her usual. Can land up handy and be strong to the line. Don’t dismiss this week. The 6 will look for runs through the field but is good at getting them and she is very strong over this trip. Smoky hope for her EW. Race 8 No. 1 He’s Our Design Well he should lead then it’s a matter of where the two strong dogs are. He’s very hard to catch this bloke when he gets the arm and will give a sight off the gun draw. The main dangers have steady draws so he gets his chance. Race 9 No. 2 Machismo Finally steps up to 595m and if he handles the corner start and lobs handy, he will go close. Reels off big run homes over the sprint and looks to have this trip all over him. Race 10 No. 1 Fired Up Finn and No. 3 Razzle Daryl The 1 is a different dog these days and can handle inside or out. Just needs to hold his spot first turn then he gets into this. The 3 will go better this week and can almost lead here. A touch unlucky last week, he will look ominous with a good step and clear run. Race 11 No. 2 Manuka Boy He’s got the draw which means he gets no more chances if he gets this wrong. Can go a lot better than his form suggests but there can be no excuses here. Capable of mustering up and putting these away early. Must produce. Market Market
