Harry Buchanans Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 2, 2023November 2, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 2 No. 7 Go Gettem Buzz Slightly disappointing last week when missing the start in a low race to leave himself far too much to do. Has a good turn of foot and can atone. Race 5 No. 2 Warm Regards and No. 8 Rumblin’ Moment The 2 gets a better draw this week and while she took a long time to wind up last week, she did hit the line late. Strong here again. The 8 could just about to spear straight over here. Best chances on the arm and while an inside draw is better, has the early speed to offset. Race 6 No. 7 Escape Way and No. 8 Turtle Fernando The 7 was superb last week. Has a dazzling turn of foot and handles wide draws perfectly. would give all these a drubbing one out and unbeaten here. Can take a step or two early is his only drawback. Should go close. The 8 will mind his business early and run into it through the bend. Could hit the frame late with a little luck. Race 8 No. 6 High Level and No. 7 Improvise The 6 will go close to leading here. Goes fast after box rise and runs good time on the arm. The 7 continues to run home well and could hit the frame again. Presents a good each way play here and is good in a field. Race 10 No. 5 Kingsbrae Huxley Old mate. He just keeps bobbing up and weaves his way through in these low grade affairs. Will be his usual price and can figure in the placings once again. SANDOWN PARK Race 5 No. 7 Fred Rose and No. 8 Fabs Max Potato The 7 is racing so well with two placings behind Alpha Zulu. Handles all boxes and runs time even though he can be a touch enigmatic some days. The 8 will wind up through the middle here and will enjoy the space to operate. If they muck around he will descend on them. Place heavy go. Race 6 No. 2 Fast Minardi and No. 6 Rippin Grace The Tassie dog in 2 is a proper weapon. Can sprint or stay and is a winner. Boxed to give this a huge shake. The 6 is now with the premier kennel and her best will now be found. Will drop to the fence and start her run and nothing will get home harder. Follow her now regardless of what she does here. Race 7 No. 7 Manila Coghlan and No. 4 Nitro Harvey The 7 is one of few dogs who can come from off the arm. Has a stack of talent and can handle the wide box. A big threat if he chimes in up the back. As is the Tassie dog in 4. Kennel mate to the earlier runner and has a tremendous strike rate over a variety of trips. He’s not here to go shopping being a cup prelude. Consider him. Race 8 No. 2 Redeemer Blue and No. 5 Aston Michigan The 2 is turning into a good stayer. Getting stronger and can settle up off the good draw here. Huge run last time. Goes close here. The 5 is having his first crack at 700. Will dash up early and give the indication he can get this trip. Will be hard to beat if he does. Race 9 No. 1 Akina Jack and No. 2 Trending Zari Very strong dogs boxed where they want here. The 1 is racing well and he only has to hold his spot early to be a huge force. The 2 will stay nailed to the paint and hit the line with gusto. She will take some stopping this time. Both dog will look ominous if they use their draws here. Race 11 No. 5 Pickled Piper Talented bitch who is better over the middle trip but she’s fresh enough here to sprint. Not a tough race considering who she has faced in the past and will be contender if she’s chiming in up the back here. Will improve on this but can run a race. Market Market
