Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 9, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 3 No. 7 Runs On Gas (EW) A race of very few hopes. The 7 gets the map and his chance to repeat his sole win here from the same box. Can step and muster quickly and only has to hold his spot through the turn to be an each way show in this. Race 5 No. 1 Simply Presto and No. 7 Entry Level The 1 is boxed to spear out and hold the arm here. Has been beginning fast but had company to the first turn. Should get his chance to lead all the way here. The 7 presents a threat. He drives up hard and can sustain the run home and will be charging late here. Ignore his last run. He’s better than that. Race 6 No. 2 Surprised Fun Lead or bust is her go and she has the draw to find the arm. Stuck on surprisingly well last time when not holding the lead and her best step will see her unchallenged early here. Can run good time when she gets the lure to herself. Race 8 No. 1 Rona’s Rocket She has a lethal record off the red and is boxed to again extend that box 1 form. Can take a step or two to get going but musters up and rails very hard to which she drives along the fence most starts to run time. Very hard to stop here. Race 10 No. 3 Celestial Gas (EW best) Has taken to this track like a pro. Boxed to again be in the finish and she’s an each way bet to nothing here. Good in a field and keeps coming throughout. Will find the fence quickly here than they have to hold her out. If she holds an each way price she’s a place heavy bet at worst. Race 11 No. 3 Spin The Bottle and No. 2 Something Fun (EW save) The 3 resumed last time off a few months and he did enough to warrant consideration here. Got back but worked home well and can show more interest early this time. Easier than last start and will rail hard here to get over these if he’s close. The 2 is racing well and he will show up early again off the draw. He’s hard to run down when he gets away. An each way save on him here. Market Market
