Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 8, 2024March 8, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 4 Marg’s Dynasty Looking for the arm here as that’s her only chance. This is a field she could get it however and she would then be hard to catch. Betting on the start. Race 2 No. 2 Pretty Hot Found her form now and ready to go on with it. A bit of speed around her here but she can come from off them and has good late race strength where some of these don’t. Will go close. Race 3 No. 7 Leclerc and No. 1 Uncompromised The 7 isn’t showing any early pace and that’s why he will get across the back of these to the fence. Hits his gears from the middle and home and will be charging again late. The 1 needs to step better this week. If he holds his spot to the first turn he can figure in the finish here. One more go for him. Race 5 No. 8 Alden Monelli and No. 2 Molfetta Cruise The 8 is very under rated and don’t be surprised to see him whip around these and put himself in a striking spot. Distance no problem and he can hit the frame at least. As can the 2 who was huge last week over the shorter trip. Smashed the line and goes even better over this distance. Keep him very safe. Race 6 No. 7 Sunset Callisto and No. 4 Ichabod Mudd The 7 missed the start in the final last week and that was it for him. Can improve instantly here and will give these plenty to worry about if he steps his usual best. The 4 will surprise as well if he gets on his bike early. Has a good turn of foot off the mat and could find the arm. That’s him in a frame hitting spot then. Don’t ignore. Race 8 No. 4 Ash The Flash, No. 1 Distribution and No. 3 Blast Of Irish The 1 and 4 will both go forward here and both dogs are racing well. No suprise to see them fight the finish out and at least one of them should score with their best steps at box rise. The 3 is the smokie who can run on if there is any trouble first turn. Goes better than most think and can work into it late. Race 10 No. 4 Sunset Hornet His to lose. Has a great turn of speed and runs time when he gets on to the lure. Expect him to drive up here and if he takes over before the first turn, it’s check and mate. Best bet. HORSHAM Race 7 No. 8 Highly Alert and No. 9 Crackerjack Aret The 8 was a good run in a cup heat last week making sustained ground from the back. Well drawn here and will descend up this long straight. The 9 super first up in his heat and big improvement will see him threaten here. Goes well around here and can finish in the money. Race 8 No. 1 Nature Strip and No. 9 Fernando Phil The Horsham Cup final and a tremendous field of speedsters here. The 1 is exactly where he wants to be. Has pace to burn and can drive up inside a very wide runner in 3. Very hard to run down if he leads these. The 9 gets a start and he’s far from out of this. Will improve after his look at the track last week and can put himself right up there early. Will stick on all day here. Great EW show. Market Market
