Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 4, 2024January 5, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No.7 Tick Tick Tick This trip is better for this bloke. Box is not ideal but he goes fast mid race and if he obtains a position first turn, he will be very hard to stop late. Each way player here. Race 2 No. 3 Notorious Harada and No. 1 Bang The 3 gets her chance now. Been stepping well but just finding one better early. Gets a good draw this time and will go close to leading throughout. The 1 will relish an inside draw. He can step and muster and has the map to do it. If he holds up he will be hard to mow down. Fav no hope in 6. Race 3 No. 6 Speed Freak and No. 7 If You Say First look here for the 6. She is the class runner and if she handles the track, traffic her only issue from there. Same with the logical danger in 7. Road blocks will need navigating with a few in this no hope of getting the trip but a big hope of impeding the chances of the proper stayers. Run to the first turn decides this. Race 4 No. 6 Crumble Monelli and No. 8 Nangar Bubbles The 6 has found his top shelf weapons again at box rise and that usually puts the issue beyond argument. If he leads, he wins. If he doesn’t, the 8 is a sneaky hope. Needs a lot to go her way but she might cross if he misses the start. He should get it done however all things equal. Race 5 No. 4 West On Boomer and No. 8 Rex Hunter The 4 has a fast win here and while this box is tricky, he has either slow beginning or wide runners outside him. It’s the inside division he needs to cross. Can win if he does. The 8 is other speed element here and he will skate down the outside looking to lead. Went super last week and will improve. Don’t dismiss him 2nd look here now. Race 6 No. 7 Sand Patch and No. 8 West On Boonie If the 7 repeats the run behind Crumble last week, she wins. Very fast dog who handles all boxes and is flying at the present. The 8 has his draw and he will look to muster up outside. Yet to miss a place from the pink, he will be strong throughout and a major threat if he lands on the pace. Race 7 No. 2 Cubit Monelli and No. 1 Inside Scoop The 2 will demolish these if he steps. That’s all you’re betting on really, him finding the arm early. If he does, these won’t keep up. The only threat is the 1. He will relish the fence draw and has good muster which he will use here. These two will dominate the betting with this being the weakest heat and several dogs simply making the numbers up. Any major upset will come from 4 or 8 but they need both inside dogs to have a very bad day. Race 8 No.3 Tweak Freak and No. 7 Waffles Monelli The 3 is going enormous over this trip. Showing good early dash and sticking on well, she gets her chance to advance to a feature final in this. The 7 is the smokie. He’s not going as bad as it looks and will show some dash here and could cut this fav off early. Needs to do everything right but not hopeless. Race 9 No. 8 Canya Mia and No. 7 All Over Kaja The 8 another dog who has taken to this circuit. She will handle this shorter trip well and has early speed to put herself up there. Won’t lay down and can threaten big time here. She will get a cart over off the 7 who will look to dart to the front. Has been performing well here and every hope this time to find the arm. Major chance. Race 10 No. 8 Kingshott and No. 1 Sneaky Emoji The 8 is under rated for a kennel that is airborne. Boxed better inside but small field suits and can stun these if he gets a look up the back. The 1 wants off but he has an engine and could motor his way into this as well. Will be very strong late and wins if he’s close turning Race 11 No. 1 Sozin’s Azzuri Boxed, mapped, placed, everything…to at least be in the finish. Crying for the inside and with a wide runner outside he gets every possible hope now. Will give a sight this time unless he completely bungles the start. Race 12 No. 4 My Dad’s Augie and No. 8 Stanga Storm The only two who can run on get a spec here. The red will lead but will get company off the 7 early. The 2 shows dash but gets up the track. Playing for trouble so nothing silly but one of the 4 or 8 will be coming late. Top two prospects at least. Market Market
