Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 13, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 5 Rocky Balboa We never tip first starters let alone maidens and while he will be a price, the 5 does have ability and will be worth a spec and certainly worth following up on whatever he does here. Has good box manners and early speed and by all reports, very talented. Nothing silly bet wise for a first up look but a little each way and a follow for future reference. Race 5 No. 8 Bad Desire and No. 4 Tyson Rocks A couple of kennel mates at odds here that will go better than most think. The 8 is far better suited to this short trip as opposed to the 500 and he can handle the wide draw. A swoop around early and up the back is what we are looking for. Strong. The 4 will be probing for runs into the back and the more momentum he builds, the harder he is to stop against this company. Can sneak under the radar. Both place heavy EW goes. Race 7 No. 3 Suntory Lass and No. 8 West On Fever Good race with a bit of early speed. Could get messy here and the 3 can capitalise on that. She has a super record track and trip and handles all boxes and doesn’t have to lead. The 8 is the one who can get into this out wide and quickly put himself right in the firing line. Placed all 5 here over this trip, he goes fast time and just needs to handle this outside draw which he can. Race 8 No. 7 Scout About and No. 2 Sunset Louie The 7 has a great turn of foot and if he begins as well as he has shown recently, he will accelerate quickly here down the outside and cross at the first turn. Will go low to sub 30 on the arm. The danger will be the 2. He showed last week that he is still learning how to cop a check but can break 30 with a clear run as well. Main go 7 and save 2. Race 11 No. 5 Bionic Polly No greyhound has ever been given as many chances as this girl on this page. While she has had genuine excuses most the time, there will be none tonight against this lot. Will be a price again but her best simply just wins. She will never grace this page again if she gets beaten tonight. Not even an unlucky 2nd will be enough. Can and must produce here. Race 12 No. 5 Corporal Kuna Was a strange run last time when he looked close enough to win but seemed to put a strange middle section in which led to his defeat. Is much better than that and can track into this behind the speed and unleash his big last section which none of these can hold off. Take on trust that it was just an off night last time. He wins with a clear run. BALLARAT Race 6 No. 5 Indy Fido and No. 6 Russian Sub The 5 is coming off a string of major race heats and has been performing well in all. Likes it here and has all round good sections. Will look the winner with a clear run. The 6 will go fast early here and has terrific muster. When he’s on the arm he’s very hard to catch and has yet to miss a place here track and trip. Backing both. Race 7 No. 2 Quincee Bale Looks a super play off the ideal draw. Has run into Collinda Patty a few times and she would decimate these. Loves racing here and the trip is perfect. Looks an EW bird and will be best bet. Shouldn’t miss the podium at the very least. Race 8 No. 5 Aston Samba and No. 7 Wizardry Magic Expect the 5 to go quickly here and get close to the arm. Her track form here and recent city form says she wins with a trouble free run. Gets much easier company than she’s faced lately. The 7 has the ideal trip here but she has a lot of tricks. She also has just as much talent. If she decides to turn up, they will have trouble holding her out late at big odds. Trust is needed for her but she can surprise. Market Market
