Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on April 12, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: THE SPORTS DAILY ON TABRADIO MS PACE RAFFAELLO (1) has had 114 starts but is in career best form, winning his last three on end. He led throughout in two of those and the pole draw will help offset the rise in class. SHARDONS ROCKET (2) has been unplaced at his past 19 starts but drops in class and can play a part. BESOTTED (10) has disappointed since a slashing 2nd four starts back but can improve from this draw. EL MACHINE (12) is struggling to recapture his best form but should be running on. Tips: 1 2 10 12 Suggested Bet: BESOTTED (10) each way. Race 2: $7 PINTS FOR FOOTY FRIDAYS AT JP’S MS PACE OUR ZAK WHITBY (11) sprinted brilliantly to beat Bettor Be Lively before working to the front when a dominant winner last week. This is tougher but his turn of foot should mean he is hard to hold out. MAJOR CATASTROPHE (9) is capable of working hard in his races and he drops in class for this assignment. ART KEEPER (1) led throughout in a weaker field before being taken on when 3rd last week and should give a good sight again from the pole. HOT FRATERNITY (2) is racing consistently and shouldn’t be far away from this draw. Tips: 11 9 1 2 Suggested Bet: OUR ZAK WHITBY (11) to win. Race 3: STEELO’S BISTRO AT GLOUCETER PARK MS PACE RISK (1) has been unplaced at his four starts since an injury enforced layoff but gets his chance tonight. He galloped away and then worked too hard when down the track last week but looks better suited from the pole here. ZENNART (7) has been flying in restricted company and didn’t disgrace himself when up in class last week and is the obvious danger. BRONZE SEEKER (10) is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs and shouldn’t be far away. SHEER ROCKNROLL (8) is racing well but again looks to set for a hard task from out here. Tips: 1 7 10 8 Suggested Bet: RISK (1) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 No.1 RISK - Money Back Race 4: BOOK YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE LADY DE LA RENTA (1) was a game 3rd behind the boys from this draw and then couldn’t get into the race when down the track in the WA Derby. She is back to her own sex and looks very hard to beat from the pole. OUR ANGEL OF HARLEM (12) worked hard when a close 3rd in a similar field last week and is getting close to her first WA win. LIBERTY ROSE (7) flashed through late to win that race last week but isn’t as well drawn. MISS SANGRIAL (10) had every chance when 2nd last week but is drawn to get a perfect run again. Tips: 1 12 7 10 Suggested Bet: LADY DE LA RENTA (1) to win. Race 5: THE CLARKE FINAL EL JACKO (7) was well driven but still impressive in winning in 1.55.2 here last week. He isn’t well drawn but is a classy conveyance. COURAGE TO LIVE (1) won two on end before running a very close 2nd to Heez Manly and has the draw advantage tonight. THE ACCUMULATOR (9) was enormous when 2nd to EL JACKO (7) last week but looks set for a tough run again. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (4) has returned from a spell in top form and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 7 1 9 4 Suggested Bet: EL JACKO (7) to win. Race 6: JP’S SPORTSBAR THE JOHNSON MARES QUALIFYING HEAT 1 MS PACE COVERED N DIAMONDS (3) found her best form when leading throughout in 1.53.8 last start. She is well drawn and will be extremely hard to catch if she can find the top again. ALKIRAS DESIRE (4) is capable of unwinding a blistering finish off the right run and shouldn’t be far away. GLENFERRIE ARCH (1) goes up in class from her win on Monday but can play a part from the pole. MY PLATINUM BELLE (2) couldn’t get into the race at her first run back from a spell but can improve from this draw. Tips: 3 4 1 2 Suggested Bet: COVERED N DIAMONDS (3) to win. Race 7: FOLLOW GLOUCESTER PARK ON FACEBOOK MARES MS PACE BETTOR BOA (8) ran two nice 2nds and hasn’t been disgraced at her past two starts in stronger company. She drops back to her own sex tonight and can overcome the wide draw. NOTHINBUTADREAM (1) has been placed at four of her past five and should be in the finish again from this draw. SOHO CHANGELING (5) was a good 2nd in solid time last week and is a legitimate winning hope. SEA ME SMILE (4) has ran on to be placed at her last two and can play a part again tonight. Tips: 8 1 5 4 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BOA (8) each way. Race 8: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU WESTBRED SS PACE SARAH GOODY (2) was racing in better company but wasn’t at her best at the end of her last campaign. She is capable of leading and running quick times at her top and will be hard to beat here if anywhere near peak fitness. BETTOR BE LIVELY (3) won two on end before nice placings in stronger company and looks a major player tonight. MISTER VERSACE (5) isn’t at his top but is too good to overlook. KHUN RATHA (9) is in career best form but has a tough draw to overcome. Tips: 2 3 5 9 Suggested Bet: SARAH GOODY (2) to win. Race 9: TABTOUCH – THE BRAND THAT FUNDS THE INDUSTRY MS PACE BRAVO TEX (9) ran two excellent 2nds before working too hard last start. He has had a fortnight to get over that effort and looks hard to beat despite the draw. ARTHUR LOWE (8) sprinted home in 55.7 to win at Pinjarra and was then held for a run when 4th here last week and looks the obvious danger. FUTURIST (11) disappointed two starts back but ran an improved race last start and has the ability to be in the finish. AUSSIE JET (10) looks a place chance from his cosy trailing draw. Tips: 9 8 11 10 Suggested Bet: BRAVO TEX (9) to win. Race 10: CHRISTMAS IN JULY AT THE BEAU RIVAGE RESTAURANT MS PACE TUAS DELIGHT (6) has been unplaced at his three runs back from a spell but meets a very weak field here and is clearly the one to beat. TERRAFORCE (2) resumes from a spell without a trial but has the ability to be prominent from this draw. JUS LIVINTHEDREAM (4) has finished worse than midfield at his last five starts but produced a fair effort on Monday and can be in the money. IDEAL INVESTMENT (1) is drawn the pole over the sprint trip in a moderate affair so must be a place chance. Tips: 6 2 4 1 Suggested Bet: TUAS DELIGHT (6) to win. Bet Now
