Gator’s Buy & Sell: Week 6 Posted on March 19, 2019March 21, 2019 | Posted by David Gately BUY CAUSEWAY GIRL Top return win at Flemington on Saturday, where she clocked 33.48s for her final 600m and a quick overall time (1:03.49). She trialled super leading into that win and will be competitive in Sydney, I am sure. Likely to run in the Group 3 PJ Bell Stakes (1200m) three weeks before a crack at the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint a week later. PROBABEEL She was simply run off her legs over 1200m on Saturday; she was under pressure the whole way, but warmed up nicely late. In fact, her 12.00s last 200m was the quickest of the field. She wants further, which she will get in the Group 1 Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) next month. NOIRE Forced very wide in Group 1 Coolmore Classic and lost ground turning, yet still rushed to line. Her 11.72s last 200m was the fastest of the day, and they ran some three-and-a-half lengths above Group 1 average in Coolmore this year (for heavy tracks). She can win soon! SELL SAFADO Heavily backed, but abject failure on wet ground in the 1350m BM88 at Rosehill. Risking her on wet going forward. RANIER He’s a handy three-year-old, but was again found out at the elite level on Saturday when fifth in the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes at Rosehill. Prefer him in something easier. MORTON’S FORK Only fair on Saturday in the Group 2 Ajax Stakes and doubt things get easier for him from here on. Feature Races Feature Races
