Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on October 21, 2021October 21, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.9 Vistabelle Former Victorian mare now with the Chris Munce yard. She trialled well prior to her first up run when having zero luck whatsoever at Ipswich held up badly on the fence until way too late. She did surge late however the margin was just too great and she went to the line looking a good thing beaten. Her only other local run was her latest when out of the placings in a hot Class 3 in town won by the flying Sir Warwick who is well fancied to win at Doomben tomorrow. Gets her chance to register her maiden Queensland victory. RACE 5 No.2 Jakkalberry Finn Staying prospect from the David Vandyke stable making his return to the track having not raced since June of this year. He’s had the three barrier trials to ready him for tonight’s assignment placing the last couple here and Deagon and whilst the gate isn’t ideal he looks to have a bit on these even taking into account he won’t be fully wound up. The 1600m trip does appeal first up and he will just keep on coming in the straight. RACE 7 No.7 Fear The Night Only two winning chances in this final race being the two fillies, this one from the Tom Button yard and Natalieann from the O’Dea/Hoysted stable. They both come out of the same last start race in town where Fear The Night was the better run making more ground than her main rival tonight. She’s going to be well suited out to the 1600m trip and her numbers at all three starts are superior to those of Natalieann. Quaddie 9, 1, 6 2, 6 4, 3, 2, 6 7, 9 Market Market
