Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on December 23, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.5 Platinum Jubilee What a cracking race to start the day. The two Magic Millions 2yo Classic favourites go head-to-head being this filly and the colt Empire Of Japan. They have both only started twice which was on the same day here back in October and they both won. For mine Platinum Jubilee was the more impressive of the pair and I’ll stick with her. RACE 2 No.3 Logan Street Lion Chris Waller trained galloper who has been racing so well in Brisbane. He’s very consistent however stepping up to the longer 1800m trip tomorrow looks made to order. He’s just been a little one-paced at the 1400m & 1600m runs recently and another big plus here is the engagement of J Mac to ride. He should land the box seat run from the perfect gate and from there will get every possible chance. RACE 8 No.14 Sunshine In Paris Very impressive winning her maiden at Canberra she then tackled a Listed race at Doomben clocking in 3rd behind a couple of very smart fillies in Stroll and the previously unbeaten Chinny Boom. Had the tempo been a little stronger she would have just about won as she was finishing hard. Note she has also accepted for a Listed race at Gosford next Wednesday, stick with her wherever she goes around. Quaddie 6, 1, 10, 8 14, 8, 5, 2 11, 12, 9 13, 1, 7 Market Market
