RACE 5 No.14 Isotope

Cracking mare who was all set to make her return to the track a couple of weeks back however a heavy (10) rated track soon put a stop to that with trainer Tony Gollan electing to scratch as to not risk flattening her with her grand final being this race. She trialled well prior and has jumped out in terrific fashion since, look for her to be storming home late.

RACE 7 No.5 Golden Artie

Certainly not knocking Coolangatta however she’s short and I feel this locally trained galloper is over the odds on an each-way basis. Unlucky on debut, should have won first up this prep before strong to the line winning at Doomben. He really could be unbeaten going into this and had that been the case would be much shorter odds. Wide gate no help however if they go nuts early look out for him late.

RACE 8 No.6 Starman

Cracking victory last week in easier company bolting away to score with Nash Rawiller on board. Yes he faces tougher opposition tomorrow however he’s only lightly raced with plenty of upside, gut feel is he’s in the right spot at the right time and with J-Mac jumping on board he looks well placed to measure up to the stronger company.
