Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on March 20, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.5 Get Stuck In Turned in a terrific run first up here two weeks back when running on solidly behind the flying Emerald Kingdom who won his sixth race in succession on that occasion clocking very slick time. He was the only runner in the race to make any ground on the winner steadily closing into second spot. Drawn well tomorrow should settle in the first four and prove tough to beat from there. RACE 6 No.11 The Move Looked very good winning at start number two when bolting in at the Sunshine Coast. Sent out for a break he reappeared at the trials recently behind speedy stablemate Sugar Boom at Doomben closing off nicely in quick time under no pressure. Like to see him ridden quietly again here and come with a rush late. RACE 9 No.2 Macewen Another to have turned in a cracking first up effort running into the placings at Doomben when tardy from the gates before being held up for a run at a crucial time in the straight. Once into the clear late he wound up nicely running on well in what turned out a race suited to the on-paced runners. Big weight however gets his chance at a value quote.
