Scott Embry’s Sunday Bunbury Preview Posted on March 20, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry Race 1 STELLA DOOR was plunged from $1.80 into $1.30 off the back of a super trial first-up last preparation. He pulled himself silly in front and was run down with ease by Safety Bay. Second-up ran second behind London Miss which is reasonable enough form. First-up, no trial, Paul Harvey on. Gets the nod. JAKESTAR has finished in the money at all four career runs. Hard to fault the form. BURNING BULLET trialed well but was plain on debut. MY BLUEBOY has been there abouts his entire career. Numbers: 7 – 6 – 4 – 1 Suggested Bet – STELLA DOOR WIN Race 2 BOSNIPP is one that a lot of punters will have been waiting for to finally come to the races. Most recent trial zipped along in 57.35 when safely holding debut winner Cliffs of Comfort. Should lead and take serious running down. GRANRANDELL will be a big price but showed a little bit at trials last preparation. SOUTHSTAR went under as an odds on favourite on debut. All recent trials encouraging. DOMINEERING looks to have ability. Numbers: 8 – 4 – 7 – 9 Suggested Bet – BOSNIPP WIN Race 3 THE ROAN RANGER looked to have found a perfect assignment last start and then he stood in the gates and missed it by at least 4L. Actually did a huge job to pass 6 runners and finish fourth. That race was 4L faster than maiden average so he gets another chance. ONCE WERE LOST has a bit of X-Factor looks like getting over further but can sprint well fresh. UNRELIABLE ran a race first-up but huge query on that form line. CAPE REIGN only comes out of an Albany maiden but the winner went close in town on Wednesday. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – THE ROAN RANGER WIN Race 4 RUM RAKER drew a horror gate last start and was unable to get into a position in running when marching three and four deep the trip. Back to 1400, drawn a soft alley, going to forgive and forget and butter up. EM TEE AYE is a 2 year old stepping up in trip. Gets a touch of weight relief taking on the older horses and always looked like a 1400m+ type. PEGGIE’S JOY had no luck at Albany on Tuesday. GOLDEN TRIGGER is there abouts for the new stable. Numbers: 2 – 12 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – RUM RAKER WIN Race 5 EURASIA comes out of a 3 year old Saturday race behind JC Roberts Stakes winner Talladega. He beat home 60+ Graduation winner Long Beach and Pinjarra Magic Millions place getter in Tommy Blue. 62+ back into a 54+. He simply jumps off the page. HENTY GAL should get a lovely run just off the speed from the gate. ZACKARIAH BEAU posted a deserving win last start, super consistent all preparation. WESTERN KING didn’t fire a solitary shot last preparation. He is better than that. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – EURASIA WIN Race 6 FA’LION MACHINE loves it at Bunbury. 3 of her 4 career wins are at the track and so far this campaign she has been going well. Savaged the line first-up at Albany when coming from an impossible position and last start thrown into an unwinnable race in the Bunbury Stakes when running out of her skin to only be beaten 5L by Free Trade, The Celt, Platoon, Tellem We’re Comin and Dutch Spy. ROCKY PATH ran well first-up against the older horses. Nice placement here. ICE TRADE is seemingly improving with every outing. SOLARIZE a query at the trip but racing well. Numbers: 2 – 10 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – FA’LION MACHINE WIN Race 7 HE’S A PARKER has been teasing his fans over the last few months. He was disappointing in Kalgoorlie but then his run in the Australia Day Trophy behind Dance Music really got tongues wagging that he might be back. Two plain runs after was deflating but he showed in the Bunbury Cup he still has it. Chris Parnham back on and an eachway quote. SPIRITUAL WARRIOR should take great benefit out of the fresh run. MACKENZIE BROOKE won the Albany Cup well but this is tougher. HERE COMES LENNI is normally around the mark and has no weight. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – HE’S A PARKER EACHWAY Race 8 KRAKKAS didn’t get a single mention in the stewards report last start but he looked to be bolting in behind heels. Jimmy Stewart clearly has him humming and he just needs further. Gets his chance here, pressure on Chris Parnham. FINANCIAL SUPPORT was on trial at the trip last start and made solid ground. TAKE ME HOME HONEY is still a maiden but breaks through soon. BLAISZEN CAZAH around the mark in a very even race. Numbers: 8 – 4 – 2 – 10 Suggested Bet – KRAKKAS EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3 2,10 1,2,5,6 FIELD Market Market
