He wasn’t the best to jump on that occasion and found himself without full galloping room until inside the 200m mark. Once in the clear he did finish off quite well and will strip much wiser for the experience. Drawn to gain a nice run from an inside gate tomorrow he looks good value. RACE 6 – No.1 Fell Swoop Yes, he is a short quote in this Group 2 feature tomorrow however even at the odds on looks value on his recent performances. Only the one run under Weight For Age conditions which was last start in the Group 1 TJ Smith at Randwick splitting Chautauqua and English on the line. Anything similar or even close to that performance has him winning easily here. RACE 8 – No.7 Trubia Michael Lakey trained galloper going for 6 on the trot tomorrow and I cannot see any reason (barring bad luck) why he won’t be winning once again! Resumed at Toowoomba with a very impressive victory coasting to the line late, he’ll take plenty of improvement off that run and won’t have any issues with the step up to 1350m tomorrow.
