Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Tips Posted on June 3, 2016June 7, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 – No.3 Jericho Team Snowden youngster who put in a terrific run at Doomben two weeks back just failing to go with the winner Archives late. They didn’t go hard up front in that race which played into the hands of Archives adding further merit to Jericho’s performance. Bigger track coupled with the rise to 1400m should see him turning the tables. RACE 3 – No.4 Maurus The combination of David Vandyke and Blake Shinn have been very hot of late and that looks all set to continue here with this stayer who ran out of his skin in the Group 1 Doomben Cup a fortnight back. Beaten less than 2 lengths he loomed to win at the 200m just peaking late, his prior run was a dominant win at the same track in easier grade. Looks a very suitable race for him tomorrow. RACE 4 – No.11 Sold For Song Toowoomba trained filly who’s run can be forgiven in the Fred Best when held up for clear running at the top of the straight. Her previous form was hard to knock with the Gold Coast 2nd a huge effort motoring home to almost get over the winner Takedown. The bigger track tomorrow coupled with a slightly longer trip will only play into her hands. She’ll go very close! Best Bet: Race 4 No11 Sold For Song Best Value: Race 5 No.7 Tina Melina Quaddie: 2, 5, 6, 7 / 3, 6 / 1, 2, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 6, 8, 13 – 40% Bet Now!
