Race 1

GINNIVAN (5) was solid in his return run, doing the work outside the eventual winner but he never shirked the task, expecting him to go close. STRAUNYS SISTER (6) has been mixing her form in recent runs, she is capable of improvement even though she has drawn awkward. SHADRACH (4) hit the line well last time out and can get into the money. INTERNAL WAVES (7) will be running on and is a novelty chance with ON GOLDEN ROAD (1) who has the nice draw.

Suggested Bet: GINNIVAN (5) to win.

Race 2

HES THUNDER (9) is really starting to work into his better form, he has a bit of heart and can crunch his rivals in this, expect him to work around them at some stage and be too good. IDEAL WHITBY (6) has come back soundly and should continue to improve with more runs. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (3) will be heading forward and could potentially lead and give them something to catch. MAJOR BUZZ (7) and SAVE THIS DANCE (8) will both be running on well from the back of the field. MUMMAS LITTLE STAR (1) can be included in novelties.

Suggested Bet: HES THUNDER (9) to win.

Race 3

Open race. LETS ROCK TONIGHT (6) has a tough draw, but he is a tough horse, his form hasn’t been too bad and expect him to improve in this grade, go close. BREWERY LANE (7) just needs a touch of luck but this class suits and he will be charging if the gaps open. HOT CINDER (1) has the nice draw but not at her best currently, can improve here. ADDA PARIS (4) may not get the luxury of leading this and that will make life harder for her. SECOND AMENDMENT (8) is racing soundly and expect him to be closing off well.

Suggested Bet: LETS ROCK TONIGHT (6) to win.

Race 4

CINDYS SECRET (1) caught the eye last time out and hit the line strongly, she has the perfect draw and expecting her to run a big race here, early speed is solid enough and looks likely to lead. GHOSTWRITER (7) is the big threat, drawn well and will get the last crack at them and what could be a Claire Cummins quinella. RAMBO RABBIT (3) will be heading forward, and he has come back soundly, much better chance if he can lead. THE RIGHTEOUS (2) and THE WHIZZER (4) both lack early speed but should be running home well.

Suggested Bet: CINDYS SECRET/GHOSTWRITER to quinella.

Race 5

FOLLOW THE MUSIC (1) is racing well, he has options from the draw and looks to be threatening in this, last few runs have been good and can play a major part. GOGGINS (6) will be hoping for some tempo to bring him right into it but he has depth in this grade. I LIKE WHAT I SEE (3) was beaten on her merits last time out and is a hard horse to get a gauge on but is a key chance, just wouldn’t want to be diving in too short. AMERICAN MONARCH (5) will be flooding home with the small field and ISAIDBOO (2) ideally drawn but rises in grade with TUX AND TAILS (4) who loves the track but is finding it hard to break through.

Suggested Bet: FOLLOW THE MUSIC (1) each way.

Race 6

WINEGUM (6) has been giving them a start at Collie and not being beaten far, looks to watch things unfold and can breakthrough here, looks very hard to hold out. BOBBY WATERHOUSE (4) has lifted in recent runs and always looked the winner last week, but his map could be a bit tricky. EYE BETTER (5) after being in the wilderness for a few runs has picked up nicely and looks threatening. KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (1) won’t be far away from the draw with capable types BEYOND BLIND (2) not quite at his best and VINTAGE BLU (3) who could possibly hold the key to the race with his early speed.

Suggested Bet: WINEGUM (6) to win.

Race 7

BY ROYAL COMMAND (5) has been flying in this grade and has an undefeated streak going with Abbey Vidovich, the gelding is 4-0 with the talented junior driver aboard and can see that tally rising here. SHECANPLAY (3) has the early speed to lead and has options from there, should be in the money with the very consistent ROCKY MAGUIRE (4) and INTO THE FUTURE (7) will be running on from the back of the field.
