Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 1, 2024July 3, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 2 No. 1 Augusta Star Gets the good draw now as she lines up for her 3rd start here. Can step and show early speed and if she holds up this time to the first turn, she will take some catching. Boxed to be in the firing line throughout. Race 4 No. 7 Teflon Lad Been a while since his maiden victory but his last two runs suggest he’s ready again and this field will struggle to hold him out. Takes a little bit to get into his work but smashes the line in this grade and will be again descending on these late. Race 6 No. 3 Horoscope Steps back up to the 509m trip here and that could be what she needs now. Keeps finding one to lead her over the shorter trip and her edge isn’t as effective. Should be able to lead here and that’s the difference with this one who clearly does her best work on the arm. Race 7 No. 1 Sarabi Sinclair The move to box 1 yielded immediate results last week as she railed her way to victory off a good step at box rise. Backs up with the red again and this is no harder which should see her go very close here. Loves the inside and is clearly the one to beat now if she drops anything like her 17.24 from last week. Race 9 No. 6 Marlin Monelli and No. 5 Commander Mack The 6 is needing this box off the track. He’s just not handling the inside draws here and will get the room he wants now. He can stun here with any luck at all. The 5 is going well and if he can step well and use his good muster, he’s a threat. Racing as well as ever, the box is his only issue here. Race 11 No. 6 Decent Guy and No. 3 Kenny Keeping The 6 is a little hot and cold but he will appreciate this company and he can dart up into a winning position here. Only has to be close turning and he will run through the line hard. The 3 will appreciate this draw and company as well and had no luck last time in a much harder race. Can lead or come from back and will rail home well against these and go close. Market Market
