Race 4 – No. 2  Route Sixty Six

Veteran chaser who was rearwards throughout on debut in WA when managing to beat just two home over the unsuitable 490m. Will relish the rise to the middle-distance and is capable of getting his kicks in this.

Race 6 – No. 1  Submariner

Undefeated from this draw, winning in all three outings in red and all over this distance. Has an abundance of early speed to his outside which should work in his favour, especially if a few get themselves in a traffic jam. Should be hard to hold out out at the finish.

Race 7 – No. 1  Starlight Gina

Big in defeat when overcoming all sorts of bother early to only be beaten a length in the end when runner up in Country Company. Up in class but moderate beginners to her outside are an advantage. Can bounce back with average luck.

Each Way:

Race 11 – No. 2  Impact Mac

Tackles a handy line up but he is not without his own share of ability. Has shown a liking for this draw in the past and wasn’t far away on Sunday when 3rd in solid time. Can play a part in the finish if finding his best jump.

Race 1 – No. 5  Cashew Monelli

Yet to miss the podium in two runs from this awkward draw and his latest run in yellow, he equalled his PB of 30.11 when winning two and a half weeks ago. This is easier and looks set to roast his rivals again.

Race 8 – No. 1  Wooden Fingers

Will find this more to his liking after a midfield finish in his heat of the Young Stars Classic. Back to a more favourable draw and where he will be on speed throughout. Can bounce back in this.

Race 12 – No. 2  Classy Riot

Talented chaser resuming from a spell. Has won first up in the past and does possess a handy record over the trip, winning 3 of 6. If he still possesses his early toe, there’s every chance he’ll go all the way in this.

Race 3 – No. 6  Hecton’s Boy

Yet another placing at odds last week when 3rd in his Young Stars Classic heat behind the two big guns in Unsee This and Momentum. Rarely runs a bad race and should be giving it his all at the finish again.

Race 3 – No. 4  Wise Dohne

Returns from a month off the scene. Prior to her latest start, she wasn’t beaten all that far when showing early toe and producing back to back seconds over varying distances. If right and predicting the start again, she can break through for the first time.

Race 8 – No. 4  Escapology

Consistent canine who has only missed the money in 4 of 12 at the journey. Can begin quickly and does her best racing from this alley. Sure to go mighty close once again.

Race 10 – No. 1  Corporal Kuna

Overcame a poor draw and some stiff opposition when just missing out on silver in a Young Stars Classic heat last week. Will find this much easier and has the advantage of the red. Take a power of beating this time around.
