Race 5 – No. 4  Moruga Scorpion

Gave every impression in her debut maiden win over 490m at Mandurah that she’ll appreciate the extra 30m. Has plenty of early toe drawn to the outside but if she gets a clear run into the first turn, she’ll be more than competitive at the finish.

Race 7 – No. 2  Big Boy Bundy

Possesses an imposing record over the trip and some of his best efforts here have been from this draw. Mixing form of late but looks hard to go past.

Race 10 – No. 7  Sam Malone

Had a halted beginning to his WA career when scratched from his debut engagement a couple weeks ago. Wide draw a slight concern but a speedy getaway from the boxes can see him take plenty of running down.
