Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on February 19, 2021February 19, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 19th February 2021 Race 4 – No. 1 Do You Dig Former NSW chaser who had no luck on debut in WA so best to forget he went around. Hasn’t won since November but gets his chance to change all that from the ideal draw. Race 8 – No. 4 Chevy Gold Resuming from an injury enforced spell. Capable of leaving the boxes in a hurry on his night and while wins have been well spaced, he can go well fresh. Keep very safe. Race 11 – No. 2 Jaro Bale Resumed with a well beaten 7th over the 405m last week when never closer than midfield throughout. Fitter for the run and will appreciate the rise in distance and improved draw. Should go much closer. Each Way: Race 7 – No. 5 Mon Leslie No closer than midfield in both outings over this trip but if she can bring her form and early toe that she’s displayed at headquarters, she’ll take plenty of running down. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.8 / 1.3.4 / 1.2.3.5.7 / 2.4.7 $50 for 37.03% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 20th February 2021 Race 2 – No. 4 Pixie Monelli Prominent throughout for second when first up from a spell last week, posting a slick 29.84. Fitter for the run and can go one better with a similar jump. Race 5 – No. 2 He Shall Power Former Victorian who is having his first outing of the year. Versatile chaser who has finished in and around the placings in the majority of his 37 starts to date and is expected to make a real good fist of this. Race 7 – No. 1 Sole Trader Should find this easier than recent 520m outings. Drawn ideally in red and with better luck in running, he can break his Cannington drought. Each Way: Race 6 – No. 8 Mongolian Wolf Racing style suggests he’ll appreciate the extra journey. Does have to contend with an awkward draw for his 600m debut but is in form and can make his presence felt. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.8 / 1.5.8 / 1.2 / 1.4.7 $50 for 92.59% Trifecta – Race 7 1.2 / 1.2.4.5.8 / 1.2.4.5.6.8 $30 for 93.75% First Four – Race 2 4 / 5.6.8 / 1.5.6.8 / 1.2.5.6.8 $50 for 185.18% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 21st February 2021 Race 7 – No. 6 Divided Unplaced in both outings over this trip but both in stronger opposition than this. Best form has been over shorter but with luck in running, he can finish off strongly for a place at big odds. Race 8 – No. 6 Fearless Eagles Too smart when winning on Tuesday, graduating to graded company with a 22.81 in in red. Having his first start in green but a swift exit can see him go back to back. Race 10 – No. 8 Stimulating Impressive when leading all the way from a similar draw in a BON 27.57 over this trip a month ago. Freshened up and looks tough to topple again. Bet Now! Bet Now!
