Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on February 5, 2021February 5, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.10 Leaglese A veteran of only the one start finishing unplaced at Doomben back in October when not seeing much daylight her trials either side suggest she can improve with better luck. She ran a nice second in a recent home track trial on the Gold Coast not being pushed out to the line. Expecting her to run very well. RACE 5 No.7 Genzai The Wolf Very strong to the line first up here at Eagle Farm before completely out of the action second up at Doomben. Happy to forgive that run as he had the 59kg to lump in what was a much tougher race won by the flying Garibaldi. With the claim for Sheridan Tomlinson tomorrow he drops plenty in weight and will be motoring home at the right end of the race. RACE 8 No.9 Nicci’s Spirit Tony Gollan trained filly who put the writing on the wall at Doomben last start flashing home late into 3rd spot behind the stablemate Bleu Zebra. The tempo was solid up front that day which suggests she’s now searching for the additional distance which she gets tomorrow. Nicely drawn she should park handier in the run before being wound up late by Georgie Cartwright. Quaddie 1, 9 4, 6 9, 1, 8, 15 3, 1, 6, 4 Market Market
