Matt Young’s Sunday Kellerberrin Preview Posted on October 2, 2026October 2, 2026 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 CAMEL PLUS (5) proved me wrong last start with a good win and looks dropped in to this race perfectly and set to go back-to-back, looks a short-priced favourite but a winner to start the day for Maryann White and Donald Harper. SANFORD HARRY (6) is suited in this grade and looks a genuine top 2 chance, will be running on strongly. MIDNIGHT REUNION (1) is a place chance from the draw, has the speed to lead early and be a novelty player with SLOANIE BEL (4) who comes in fresh but is suited to the grade. Tips: 5 6 1 4 Suggested Bet: SANFORD HARRY (6) to place. Race 2 HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (8) was solid on return off a freshen up and looks suited here, as it stands, he needs a driver and if he finds one, he will be hard to hold out. BATAVIA STREAMLINE (1) has the speed to lead early and has been gathering momentum in recent runs, looks a solid chance. SAVE THIS DANCE (5) has some early speed and this looks no harder, should be around the mark again. SANFORD HARRY (2) is racing soundly and is not without claims with SPORTS CENTRAL (4) and CIAO BABE (3) but those don’t look likely to lead. BATAVIA WEST (7) a place chance from the nice draw. Tips: 8 1 2 4 Suggested Bet: HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (8) to win. Race 3 BETTOR WASH UP (6) is racing consistently and looks to use his early speed to bounce to the lead, if he finds the top I think he will win the event. SEVEN NO TRUMPS (9) has come back well and will be put into it at some stage, should run a bold race. VINTAGE BLU (5) not at his best but a suitable grade and has some speed to settle close. SECOND AMENDMENT (10) will be running on well with GOODONYA MATE (1) who lacks early brilliance, but the draw dictates him to get a good run. THE DARK NIGHT (7) needs some luck but is a chance with VELVET SHADOW (8) who will be running on. Tips: 6 9 10 1 Suggested Bet: BETTOR WASH UP (6) to win. Race 4 Open race here. WINEGUM (8) returns and should follow through nicely and settle close enough, he is going to be running on well and looks hard to beat. BRONZED (1) is building into the preparation nicely and has options from the draw, won’t be far away. JAXS IDEAL (4) is dropped into this grade nicely, on the quick backup from Friday and looks a solid chance but form has been a bit of a query since her most recent win. YAWOMA (9) is a consistent pacer and GET YA BETS ON (7) drawn to get a soft run. STRAUNY (2) is always thereabouts and MAJIC BAY (5) is capable and versatile. Good race. Tips: 8 1 4 7 Suggested Bet: BRONZED (1) each way. Race 5 STELLA MAJOR (1) has options from the draw but has the speed to lead and is racing with good consistency, looks hard to beat in this. SHES A MARE (6) will be hoping for some early speed, but she is racing well apart from one run and will be getting home strongly. EYE BETTER (5) is a consistent performer and has some strings to her bow. ALTA HURRAH (4) may look to run the gate but unlikely to cross which will make it harder for him. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (2) could be an improver and FOLLOW THE MUSIC (7) nicely drawn to earn. SPUDMEISTER (8) best is as good as anything in the race, but the first up run was quite plain. Tips: 1 6 5 2 Suggested Bet: STELLA MAJOR (1) to win. Race 6 SHECANPLAY (5) will look to dash across and lead this event, isn’t guaranteed to lead but if she can cross, she becomes the one to beat. BETTOR BE BUCKS (2) will get a lovely run and will be hoping a few have a look early, she is consistent. ROCKNROLL JEWEL (1) won last time out and has good early speed, may look to try and keep the advantage but will need to be quick. GINNIVAN (6) returns and the small field suits, he will be rocking (literally) and rolling on the way home and could be dangerous. Tips: 5 2 6 1 Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE BUCKS (2) each way.
