Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on February 5, 2021February 5, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.2 Conglomerate Team Snowden youngster on debut tomorrow who cost 350K at the sales. Liked the way he went about his business winning a recent Gosford trial from the front by over 2 lengths. That’s a real ‘flashing light’ from this stable when they win trials and with James McDonald engaged to ride that’s a great pointer to his winning chances. The only negative is the wide gate, that’s where the genius of McDonald comes into play. RACE 5 No.9 Ashema Profiteer is the overwhelming favourite for this race however I’m of the thought this filly from the Neasham yard goes around a live chance at very good value. She gave the smart Acrobat something to chase down on debut before sitting wide without cover last time out when still filling a placing. Figures to gain a good run on the speed tomorrow and is worth an each-way investment. RACE 6 No.3 North Pacific The Group 3 Eskimo Prince is one of the day’s features and I’m with James McDonald once again on this very impressive colt resuming. Similar to the Snowden yard Team Hawkes also have a great record with their resuming runners off trial wins which is the case here. Beaten by only Ole Kirk in the Group 1 before spelling he’s a very promising type. Quaddie 3, 1 1, 10 7, 8 1, 6, 8, 9, 12 Market Market
