Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on December 11, 2020December 11, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 11th December 2020 Race 3 – No. 6 We The People Backmarker who possesses a powerful finish. Will need plenty to go right from the awkward draw but if things do happen to go her way for a change, she will prove mighty hard hold out at the finish. Race 7 – No. 4 Tandem At Pace Rarely runs a bad race with 16 podium finishes in 22 starts to date, all over the 405m. Has been hampered by tricky draws of late but a win would not surprise if he obtains a decent enough run in transit. Race 8 – No. 1 Revved Up Moment Versatile chaser making his Mandurah debut. Has come up with his favourite draw to do so as well and is capable of leading these all the way and causing an upset in the process with his best jump. Each Way: Race 12 – No. 8 Stanga Bull Just outside the placings at all of his past three, finding bother in each. Up in distance for the first time but should be running on late and can figure heavily in the finish. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.3.6 / 2.3.7 / 2.4.6 / 1.4.6 $50 for 61.72% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 12th December 2020 Race 5 – No. 7 Burswood Bandit Had no luck from a similar draw last start when showing pace early, only to be hampered on the first turn and lose plenty of ground. Meets a similar line up and if he manages to steer clear of any trouble, he has the ability to recapture his winning best. Race 7 – No. 3 More Deductions Last start Group 3 Mandurah Cup winner who resumes from a spell. He has a strong record over this journey and is unbeaten from the draw, including a near 12 length, all the way win at his WA debut. Take plenty of running down. Race 10 – No. 5 Sunset Nuclear Bombed the start and found plenty of bother in transit last week, finishing a well beaten 6th as odds on favourite. Has led all the way in a near PB from this very draw in the past and is expected to make amends. Each Way: Race 11 – No. 7 Veyron Star No stranger to wide draws, having started from box 5 or wider in 17 of her 27 starts to date. Has the early pace to cross the face of the field and if she lands on the arm, she’ll take plenty of catching. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8 ): 1.4.6.7 / 1.3.5 / 1.3.7 / 1.2.7 $50 for 46.29% Trifecta – Race 9 8 / 2 / 3.4.6 $3 for 100% First Four – Race 10 5 / 7 / 1.4.8 / 1.2.4.8 $9 for 100% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 13th December 2020 Race 6 – No. 5 Crown Benji Showed a glimpse of form when runner up over the 380m at Cannington last start. A winner in 1 of 2 here in the past and a similar effort to Monday should see him notch up another. Race 7 – No. 1 Bamsy’s Boy Mixing form but has come up with the first red rug of his short career. Has plenty of early toe and should be in this a long way. Race 9 – No. 6 Black Que Ran on well for 2nd over 405m last week but saves his best for this journey and has the class edge on his rivals here. Looks destined to bounce back to his best. Bet Now!
