Mandurah Friday, 16th October 2020

Race 1 – No. 1  Hatari Storm

Too smart in her WA debut when saluting in 17.43 over this trip from the middle of the line. Winless from this alley but has plenty of early toe and will be even fitter this time around. Tough to topple.

Race 2 – No. 1  First Rule

A winner in this company, leading all the way from this very draw 7 starts ago in a smart 22.71 at juicy odds. Has been placed 3 times since and gets her chance to break the drought once again.

Race 8 – No. 8  Cheeky Ricky

Won at his first two tries from this draw, leading all the way in each but has finished no closer than midfield in 4 tries since. Has really hit his strap of late though with a hat trick of wins and he can turn his pink fortunes around in this.

Each Way:

Race 9 – No. 5  Oysters

Had excuses over the shorter 405m but fought on well for 3^rd after racing prominently throughout. Should appreciate the smaller line up and rise in distance. Can go one better with a swift exit.

Cannington Saturday, 17th October 2020

Race 1 – No. 7  Racing Pulse

Not drawn all that well and will be relying on luck but if he can find himself a nice possie in transit early, he is capable of finishing on solidly. Well worth a look on the back of his eye-catching 2^nd last week at Mandurah.

Race 6 – No. 1  Sunset Nuclear

Talented up and comer drawn ideally in red. Has the early toe to hold the lead and will be looking to make amends for his recent defeat in the WA Bred Country Cup behind SANTA’S MAGIC (3)

Race 8 – No. 3  Hairpin Trigger

Get back, run on type who has taking late ground off CHIMERA MONELLI (1) at their most recent outing. Prior to that she was too strong for him and from the improved draw, she gets her change of revenge.

Each Way:

Race 3 – No. 2  So Tough

Will appreciate the rise to the 715m again where he has only missed the place once in 12 tries. Drawn well and another podium finish looks likely.

Race 8 – No. 2  Star Jake

Speedy beginner making his Mandurah debut. Has his first draw in 10 starts and should not let that go to waste. Will prove mighty hard to run down over this trip.

Race 11 – No. 1  Iconic Fun

Possesses plenty of early dash and does her best work from this draw. Capable of turning her recent poor form around if she can ping and hold the early lead.

Race 12 – No. 3  Bamsy’s Boy

Had excuses on debut at Cannington last start so best to forget he went around. A winner on debut and 3rd second up from either side of the draw in his only two runs prior and is expected to return to his best for this.
