Race 4 – No. 5  Fiorella Forward

Did everything right but was still no match for the winner last week when runner up in a slick 22.85. The draw is the only concern but if she pings she may be the one who proves too speedy this time.

Race 10 – No. 8  Tandem At Pace

First up since early June but he did kick off his career in fine style with a win and has recently trialled in solid time from a similar draw. Should prove too classy if anywhere near 100%.

Race 11 – No. 7  Duck Norris

Has found consistent form with a hat trick of wins beside his name from either side of the draw over this trip and all in good times. Does his best work out wide and a forward showing is expected again.

Each Way:

Race 5 – No. 6  Nando’s Thunder

Racing well in tougher company than this and he can handle a wide draw. Freshened up and can figure prominently at the finish again.

Race 1 – No. 1  Chevy’s Entry

A last start 520m FFA winner with an brilliant record over this journey. Drawn ideally and looks too smart for this line up.

Race 5 – No. 1  Sir Monty

Suited by the draw having won 3 of 4 in red and while he can be risky around the first turn, if he holds his own early on and avoid being crossed, that will improve his chances greatly of landing his first and well-deserved feature.

Race 12 – No. 4  Don’t Guess

Looks ready for the step back up to 600m with some strong finishing 520m 3rds at his past 3 starts. Placed in both efforts over the trip and is sure to give a bold sight again.

Race 8 – No. 4  Sunset Milo

Bumps into two smart ones both on his inside but if they get into another bumping duel, just as they did last week, he is capable of causing the upset.

Race 5 – No. 1  Jett’s Cracker

Versatile chaser who resumes from a short injury enforced break. Unbeaten over the journey and looks hard to hold out from this alley.

Race 6 – No. 4  Major Fun

An all the way winner from this very draw two runs ago. Had excuses over the short course at Cannington last start and looks set to bounce back here.

Race 8 – No. 4  Canya Go Wild

Recent form over the longer 490m has been superb and while his hasn’t raced over this trip since April, he should be able to keep his strong Mandurah record in tact.
