Race 7 – No. 3  Velocity Star

Hasn’t won for a while but showed encouragement last week when sitting deep throughout and still managing to take ground of the likely favourite Oriental Owen who finished 2nd. Capable of an upset with a softer run.

Race 9 – No. 2  Dainty Brae

Back in winning form with a rails-hugging effort from a similar draw last week. This field has more depth but she has confidence on her side now.

Race 10 – No. 7  Junk Yard Wolf

Returns from injury from an awkward draw but he was ultra-consistent when last in work and did post some strong times over this trip. Hard to beat if fully fit.
