Scott’s Saturday Belmont Preview Posted on September 8, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 A FAIR LADY continues to be riddled with bad barriers. This is a winnable race for her if she can find the three wide train and get a tow into the race. COMPARATIVE should slide forwards and prove hard to run down. BLACK DICE trialed like the trip won’t worry him. BURNING MAGIC has had her fair share of chances. Numbers: 10 – 2 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – A FAIR LADY EACHWAY Race 2 MRS BROWNS BOY is ultra consistent and should find a lovely position midfield with cover. KINGDOM AND EMPIRE has the senior rider on after pulling his way forwards last weekend. IRON BOSS was an impressive winner albeit in a weak Kalgoorlie field. PHANTOM CHOICE was simply run off his legs by a superior front runner last start. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – MRS BROWNS BOY WIN Race 3 DAINTY PAT has done absolutely nothing wrong this preparation. She loomed the winner last start and just peaked on her run. MONEY MAHER went around at prohibitive odds at Northam and duly saluted, he is talented. DRIFTWOOD GIRL went well at her return to the track. PRIVATE DANCER hit the line hard on debut. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – DAINTY PAT EACHWAY Race 4 PATAPUS is as consistent as they come. She is versatile and can position anywhere she wants from the gun alley. DIABLERIE is ready to break back into the winners’ enclosure. This race is much easier than recent assignments. STABLE SECRET was enormous last start, unfortunately looks like he will have to cop a lot of pressure again. KAAPANDER was enormous at Northam. Numbers: 9 – 3 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – PATAPUS EACHWAY Race 5 STOCKS has had an interrupted preparation because there are not a lot of options for his rating level. Senior rider back aboard and a winnable weight, he can give an eachway sight. JUST ACT NATURAL is a minor query at 1400m. Weighted to win this race. FLYING TIME is racing incredibly consistently. MIKI TWO TOES has no excuse from the gun alley. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – STOCKS EACHWAY Race 6 GIGANTE is incredibly well weighted after the 3kg claim. Has the speed to put himself into the race and should go well fresh. BOMBS AWAY was very good behind Dainty Tess. That is the best form in WA at this trip. LOCKROY should be perfectly placed in the run. RECOILED is hard to catch but talented when right. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – GIGANTE WIN SuperPick - Race 6 No. 1 GIGANTE - Money Back Race 7 BY DECREE races on the speed and has a short sharp sprint which puts her into races. She was unlucky to get rolled last start and can turn the tables here. CHASING CHAOS slides across and potentially takes up the running, senior rider on is a huge bonus. RAGNAR’S SAGA will need to do it tougher than last start. OUTLAW PETE was better than it reads last weekend. Numbers: 6 – 7 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – BY DECREE WIN Race 8 FLOYD reeled off some strong early sectionals and was probably entitled to paddle late. With that run under his belt he looks hard to catch. UNDISCLOSED is undeniably talented. May do it tough from the gate which is the big concern. DUTCH SPY should be poised right behind that pair ready to strike. MASSACHUSETTS is a tease, gets back and charges up the fence. Numbers: 4 – 5 – 1 – 8 Suggested Bet – FLOYD WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3,4,5 1,4 1,6,7,9,10 1,4,5 Bet Now
